Meet our barn cats, Snickers & Misty. We got them from a shelter a few months ago to help with rodents and they have recently started leaving the back pasture and barn to hang out with us in the front yard. They can often be found sleeping in the SxS, random boxes, or in the empty bunny nesting boxes😴 I was a little nervous about them hanging out in the bunny and chick area but have been great and could care less about them! It’s almost like they’re guarding them🤣

Never thought I’d be so excited to get seeds! We are still working on getting the garden area all set up but in the meantime I’ll be starting some of the seeds inside this week. I’ve never considered myself to have a green thumb but I’m learning as much as I can and will figure it out as I go!

Last but not least, Hope finally had her babies around 9:30 last night, 1 buck and 1 doe. Her labor was by far the longest, started showing signs at 11am but didn’t start pushing until 9:15pm and had both babies out without any assistance by 9:30! She is a great momma and already has her hands full with this little doe, who figured her legs out within minutes and I don’t think she’s stopped running and jumping around🤣

Round 2! Oreo had 2 little bucks, one is almost identical to her🥰 This was definitely a lot more traumatic than Faith’s delivery! Both were positioned the wrong way and we had to go in to assist on the second one. RJ ended up going in and was able to adjust him enough to get him to come out. So thankful Renee noticed Oreo’s breathing change this evening. Her and her best friend kept a watch on her until we knew for sure she was in labor and were so helpful during the delivery! Praying that momma and babies make it through the night🙏🏼 And that no one else goes into labor tonight🤪😫🥴
