I love using licky mats as an enrichment activity especially on rainy days like today. As much as we can we still try and get outside however our time outdoors is limited when it’s wet, a licky mat is great for mental stimulation that your dog would normally get from being outdoors sniffing around at new smells and exploring different textures. I’ve packed this one with some yummy goodness, apples, carrots, vegetable purée, bone broth, nutritional yeast, bee pollen and freeze dried grass fed bovine colostrum. The Dachshund Club of NSW is an organisation of breeders, exhibitors and lovers of the dachshund. We take a proactive role in promoting the dachshund as a healthy, happy companion dog. Come meet us, talk to the breeders and learn about the breed and meet some fabulous dachshunds on our monthly walks. Save the date for our next walk.

✨Hunter✨ From my Poppy and Soli long hair litter. Hunter has been one of the happiest puppies we have raised. Along with his litter mates, he has been happily wagging his tail through his puppy stages and milestones. I was so impressed with the temperaments from this litter, settled, confident, loving puppies that I’m certain will capture the hearts of their lucky families for years to come. Hunter has taken well to new experiences, loving his outings and relishing in all the attention he attracts. His cheeky antics at the meditation sessions we attended, I’m sure will be remembered, I’ll never forget how happy he was running around, exploring the studio and making the students gush with his goofy cuteness. He loves going cruising in the car and will happily splash in the water at the beach. No beach required for his favourite party trick though, just place a nice big, freshly filled bowl of water on the floor, I can guarantee you Hunter will just as quickly hop in the bowl with all four paws and delightfully splash all the water out, he’s happy to perform this trick multiple times a day.No extra charge 🙈😩😆. We love Hunter to bits here and its always so hard to say goodbye however I’m looking for a very special, loving home for him to continue living out his best life. It is with complete confidence that I can say he will make a wonderful companion for someone very lucky. If you feel that may be you, please reach out and let me know a little bit about yourself. Hunter is 12 weeks old. He is crate trained and his toilet training is coming along very nicely. He loves people and the company of my older dachshunds ♥️🐾

Sharing my raw feeding dinner bowls for my dachshunds to show how simple it really is to put together a nutritious meal your dog’s health can benefit from. It doesn’t always have to look pretty@or completely balanced each night, I balance the meals over the week so there is always something different each night.
Tonight’s bowl; salmon piece, chicken neck, beef liver, vegetable purée with sunflower seeds, chia seeds and pumpkin seeds, fresh herbs from my garden ( sage and oregano) and bee pollen for allergy support and skin health. ✨Supplement and ceramic slow feeder bowl from ✨( fyi, I always add some water or bone broth to the bowl for hydration)

✨💜 Sadie, Lola, Nala and Hunter tried on their harness that is designed specifically for the dachshund’s unique shape, no interference and very gentle on their growing bodies, I love the consideration that has gone into these hand made harness’s.including them in my puppy packs felt like a great way to ensure the puppies have a comfortable start to their walking experience as they start to make their way to their forever homes. I love all the bright colours in this range.

As their time for new adventures draws closer I’ve been busily and lovingly preparing them for the first day of the rest of their lives. Wolf, Vonnie and Maverick tried on their thoughtfully designed and crafted harness from Helga . I appreciate the time and consideration put into the design of these harnesses that fit beautifully and don’t restrict movement of this uniquely shaped breed. The puppies also have their own cuddly, generously sized snuggle sack that is in their little soft crate, a space in which they are familiar with as they have spent time in their enjoying playing with their snuffle ball and taking little naps in. As always, it’s a little sad to say goodbye, I’ve loved them and their sweet, individual personalities and wish them all the very best as the next chapter begins ♥️🐾
