In the last few months we have seen him develop into such a handsome young dog with a friendly and happy disposition. 🥰

Happy 1st Birthday to our S. Ghibli litter! 🥳🎉

This litter took a whole bunch of planning, sleepless nights, tears of frustration, so much stress and not to mention our biggest investment at the time.
All litters take planning, generally lots of it but this one shaved a few years off my lifetime 😂

I was adamant I only wanted to have one litter out of Moro and we waited for what we thought was the perfect time for her to do so.
We knew Winters genetics carried through a lot of the aspects we needed to compliment Moro- but we weren't prepared for just how well these two dogs married up.

These puppies were so stable from day one. Friendly, inquisitive, laid back, independent and smart.
I am so proud of the dogs they have grown into and so proud of all the lucky families that ended up sharing their lives with them.

Here's to a happy happy 1st of many birthdays Ash*taka 🩶, Ghost 🖤, Mallory 💚, Reasan 💜, Calcifer ❤️, Hurricane 💙, Baci 🧡 and Boston 💛

We are so proud of our young Cally Mal.
He is a stunning blend of both his parents and their pedigrees.
Calcifer is the clown of the family. Always wearing a smile and creating chaotic group zoomies.
He loves to stir the pot 🤣 definitely an entertainer.

We couldn't be more excited to be the humans on the end of his lead. Lots of fun things planned Cal, this is just the beginning 🫶

She thinks fast and she acts faster 🤣 her mother's intelligence and her father's indifference.
We can't wait to see what the future has in store for her 🥰

Only just starting to grow her coat back. Seemingly all puppies inherited Moros coat drop schedule so I think they will be spending every birthday naked 😅

️ WILL YOU BE MY FOREVER HUMANS? 💜

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Akira has found herself looking for a new family to call her people.

Akira has grown up with young children, welcoming 2 human siblings during her 4.5 years of life. While she's not so aware of how big she is - she has always been friendly and behaved appropriately. Just occasionally forgetting small humans aren't prepared for the iconic "mally lean" 😅
She has experience in indoor and outdoor living, however does spend most of her time outside in the fresh air.
Currently located in Victoria - we would ideally like to see her stay in her state of residence - but may be relocated to South Australia next year if no suitable homes are found in Vic.

Whilst Akira is an only dog, a trial with another medium/large male dog would be considered pending a meet and greet.

Akira has been a very much loved family member. She is a well rounded, active and friendly girl - the perfect companion for someone who is just not keen on the "puppy phase" and would prefer to welcome an adult dog to their life.

Akira is desexed and up to date on vaccinations.

So proud of these babies and their resilience during our trip. It was a big ask travelling 10 hours for their first ever show. They were so well behaved and smiled their way around the ring. I love watching all the foundation work come together 🥰

Storm participated in his first veteran parade - he certainly didn't act his age in there, 7 year old puppy mentally 🤣

Kisses for nanny Mivs 🥰

We have received a few messages over the last few weeks - we will respond, please be patient.
We are just super busy during the month of September and usually until mid/end of October.
Lots of work goes into our dogs and their training, especially with youngsters. Our dogs behaviour and performance is very important to us and we spend lots of hours training to achieve this result.

We do our best to keep all our dogs groomed and presentable. This is not exclusive to our show team - spring is shedding season and we make sure each dog in our care is brushed out and comfortable as we approach the summer season.
With summer, comes preparations for snake prevention 😖 it's a terrible time of year in Australia to have a kennel of dogs!

We are preparing for our last big trip of the year to the Alaskan Malamute Club, Victoria annual specialty this weekend and then it will be catching up on all the things we have missed during our active working season.

There is a lot going on behind the scenes here at Polarhike, please be patient with us! We do want to speak to you, but sometimes we need to spend our quiet moments to recover for the next 🫶
