Mary Ellen Barry is coming to The Fieldhouse Agility Center for workshops on 9/18 and 9/19 and a UKI Trial on 9/20!

Spots still open for International Handling with Mary Ellen Barry on 9/19/24 from 9 am to 5 pm. This seminar will run "International Style" with five teams running in the morning and five in the afternoon. Each group will audit the other half of the day. $250 per working spot. Sunday February 12th, I'll be offering two workshops at the Fieldhouse in Northford. Click the link to sign up! 6 spots each, $150 per working spot. Jumps and tunnels only. Great for young dogs as well as experienced dogs. Dogs should be sequencing a minimum of 5-6 obstacles.

9am - 12:30 Handling from Ahead and Behind. Practice handling techniques that require you to be ahead of your dog, and techniques that require you to be behind your dog. Find out which techniques best suit your team, and expand your agility toolkit!

1:30 - 5 Handling from a Distance. Distance skills are becoming increasingly important on agility courses in all venues. Learn the secrets of training and handling from a distance, build your dog's skills, and your understanding of why and how your dog reads your handling from a distance. Jumps and tunnels will be used. Suitable for young dogs and experienced dogs. Dogs should be sequencing a minimum of 5-6 obstacles.

New classes at The Fieldhouse Agility Center, starting in February!

Intermediate/Advanced coursework for those competing in EX/MAS in AKC and/or Senior/Champ levels in UKI. We'll explore AKC, UKI, and ISC style challenges to prepare you to run clean in any venue you might compete in!

Classes will meet beginning Tuesday, Feb 7th. 5-6:30, and 6:30-8 pm. Classes are $250 per six weeks. 5 students per class.
