We're looking to rehome a couple of dogs, just because we're overwhelmed and have a baby on the way. Both are AKC registered Weimaraners, come from Champion bloodlines, and have no known health problems. We'd prefer the adopter to pay for spaying, but no other fees. Will only consider good homes. Please see descriptions below, and apply via message with info on their new potential home.
Bama's Lilly Bit Of Luck (DOB 07/29/2015)
Blue Female ~85 lbs
I really hate to see Lilly go. She's extremely affectionate and even vocal at times like she's trying to talk to you. She's a big girl, bigger than many male weims, and stands close to 27" at the withers. Lilly hasn't been in the house full time, but she knows how to be and I don't think she's ever went to the bathroom inside. She's no slouch of a hunter either, but not as driven as some.
Bama's Oh Maya Million (DOB 11/25/2017)
Blue Female ~80 lbs
Maya is a great girl, and partially house trained. She's very fast and agile and an excellent hunter. She can stand on her back feet for a treat, and rarely barks or makes a sound without due cause. She has had two litters of puppies, but you can hardly tell.
These two are sisters, and sometimes they don't get along with one another. They probably should not go together, but they do each get along with all 5 other dogs we have. It would be good if they have a k9 companion, but not required. The introduction phase would likely take a week or two for them to get comfortable with another dog outside their pack. I think both of these dogs will make excellent companions. Pictures in comments.
