Familiars Foster Network & Rescue (FFNR) strives to provide the best-possible environments for all animals in the organization’s care by establishing and nurturing a compassionate foster network, routinely evaluating volunteer morale, and adhering to the most up to date animal welfare best practices and care standards, so that our animals can thrive in their temporary homes and beyond.

💜Holly and Tinsel are looking for their forever home!🖤

This adorable pair is the perfect combination! Tinsel (male, more black) is super friendly and confident, wanting love and attention all day! He loves to lounge or lay on your lap for snuggles. Holly (female, more white) is a bit more timid but her brother helps warm her up. She LOVES to play and still acts like a kitten when playing. She loves tunnels, wand toys and lasers. Holly and Tinsel are bonded and are looking for a home together.

👉 At a year old, all this chunk may be cute, but it's not healthy. Did you know that overweight cats have a higher risk of arthritis, diabetes, high blood pressure, urinary tract disease, some cancers, and more? Holly and Tinsel are looking for an adopter that is open to continuing their weight loss journey. They will need scheduled feedings (no free feeding) of low calorie food. We recommend weighing regularly and increasing play sessions. When in doubt, always consult your veterinarian.

🖤Our 3rd Annual Toe Beans on Tap Trivia was a success, raising $886!💜

Congratulations to our returning champs 'P**p Scoopin' Boogie' on their big win. That's two years in a row they've come out on top!!

Taasbag generously donated a signed Ha Ha Clinton-Dix canvas, which we paired with our 50/50 raffle winnings! We drew two winners. First pick chose between the cash or the canvas, and the second received the remaining prize. Josh from team 'We Drink & We Know Things' selected the money and generously donated most of it back to the cause! Pete from team 'Irish Wristwatches' won the canvas and kindly donated it back as well, so it can be featured in our upcoming virtual silent auction!

In our third year, we really hit our stride! This was our smoothest event yet, with logistics running seamlessly and past feedback helping us bring everything to a whole new level. We were happy to see returning teams as well as new faces and can't wait to do it all again next year! If you attended, we'd love to hear your feedback :)

HUGE shout out to Mo, TAASBAG and their bartenders/staff for providing the venue and top-notch service! Thank you to everyone who participated and volunteered. Together, we are saving tiny lives!

💜Speckle is looking for her forever home!🖤

Speckle is the most loving kitten you'll ever meet. There is no such thing as close enough to her, and it only takes one look for instant purrs. Speckle loves to play and enjoys the company of other cats. She is skeptical of dogs but could do well with patience and a slow introduction. Speckle goes to work with her foster most days and has had to have a 'warning' label put on her kennel that states if you open it be ready to catch her as she will literally leap into your arms whether your ready or not. She is just an absolute love and is a joy to have around.

🧡 Meet your host for Toe Beans on Tap Trivia! 💛

You may know Teegan from the local alt emo band The Up & Up or from his days in Dem H***y Funkers - but did you also know he is an active volunteer for FFNR and an adoring cat dad? This is Teegan's 3rd year hosting Toe Beans on Tap Trivia, and we can't wait to see what questions he has cooked up for us this time!

The big night is THIS THURSDAY! If you like trivia, 50/50 raffles, good bar food, and probably a few bad dad jokes...grab your smartest friends and stop by TAASBAG on August 28! The winning team will get $120 worth of lottery tickets!

Huge shout out to everyone who made this Rescue Pack supply run possible! We got tons (900 lbs!) of kitten pate, litter of various types and potty pads (not pictured)!
