We purchased this and five other lovely plants from a wonderful 93 year old woman in Kenton, TN. She has many more to sell. Most are just $5 as she can't care for them all any more and her children don't seem interested.

I could have spent all day looking around her lovely yard. She was happy to have me take some of her plants. I gave her more than she asked as the plants are worth far more than $5. If anyone wants any plants I can give you Ms. Karen's number.

Spring has sprung! Summer has come to Reelfoot Lake! All the critters are out and about and it makes me happy! The first day I come home from work and see hundreds of damsel and dragon flies buzzing around the yard is one of my favorite days of the year!

What is your favorite critter that you can't wait to see again in the spring/summer?

Here at Samburg Bugs we enjoy almost any variety of critter! We have many active and upcoming projects with our invertebrates. Our main focus is not on mass production of animals for sale, but on creating habitats that are comfortable for our critters and allow them to enjoy their life cycles. Quality food and enclosures are core to our beliefs in how these animals should be cared for. When our critters do reproduce we sell them at reasonable prices so that others can enjoy nature in their homes as well.

Currently we have live sales for blue dream shrimp, springtails, and guppy grass (aquatic plant). We have upcoming offspring from our mystery snails, jade green shrimp, fire red shrimp, dwarf crayfish, and yellow shrimp that should be available for new homes soon!

Future projects that will mature in the next year or so include isopods/rollie pollies, jumping spiders, vampire crabs, tarantulas, and dubia roaches.
