Equi-Choice Therapy The Equiscope is a micro current electro therapy that can help the body heal up to 50% faster.

This is one of my favorite comeback stories with the equiscope.

First, I always recommend you get a vet to diagnose your horse. Second, the equiscope will not heal something that the body would not already be capable of healing from.

This horse had an unknown injury while at the trainer. He stayed at the vet for a couple weeks before even being sound enough to come home. He had multiple hock injections, but the vets could never pin point the problem. He was getting better only to get worse again. Enter the equiscope. 12 sessions over 30 days. He was sound. I suggested giving him a little more time to be sure. He went back to work and never had another issue. Equiscope for the win 🏆

Following up from my last post which was the simple explanation of the equiscope…

The length of actual therapy is about 30 mins. I need about an hour or so when you add in the time of putting plates on before and taking them back off after.

I am not limited to 2 plates. I have many different size plates and tools to reach any and every area. I put conducting gel on the plates (microcurrent therapy is electricity). It does not hurt, and you don’t even have to feel it for it to be working! I can adjust the intensity to the individual.

While we are running the machine we go through different frequencies every 2 minutes. The same way your body goes through different frequencies of sleep. Your body heals itself when you are asleep. Essentially we are putting the body into healing mode. Most immediate results are pain goes away, swelling goes down , and people always tell me they sleep so good that night.

The equiscope has a biofeedback system that is constantly scanning the body and adjusting the output to what the body needs. This is what sets the equiscope apart from other electro therapies. It is important not to overload healthy cells with too much energy or you will cause damage to the healthy cells. The biofeedback system keeps this from happening so you can feel confident there is never any overload or damage being done.

When we finish a session the energy stays running through the body for up to 4 hours. You will feel better 24 hours after than immediately after the session. I tell people you will really notice a difference when you wake up tomorrow. You will be relaxed and probably sleepy. This is why I do not work on horses before a run. It will detox your body so drink plenty of water. Horses will want to drink after.

Cellular changes can occur for up to 30 days after the session. Remember everything in your body is compromised of cells - muscle, tissue, bones, organs, everything! All of this can be affected by the equiscope.

The equiscope can help the body heal itself up to 50% faster. Not only while it is being used, but after as well. If a horse or person has used the equiscope they will heal faster than someone who has not. The body has been put in a healing state and takes care of itself better. Hence, faster recovery after a run, or not as easily sustaining injury, and healing quicker when you do.

This is a little deeper look at the Equiscope. Still just scratching the surface. My goal is to educate people how the equiscope works. I am always open to discussing further how this mode of therapy will help in your particular case.

What can I tell when I put the equiscope on your horse? The equiscope reads impedance of energy.
Let’s take a step back - I use plates placed on acupressure points. The equiscope reads the energy flow from plate A to plate B. The numbers on the equiscope show me if there is a high level of impedance in the horses body between the two plates.
Why would there be impedance? Let’s think of impedance as an interruption in energy flow. Our bodies are made of cells. Each cell has a charge. When there is an injury, scar tissue, inflammation, etc, there is a break in the charge of the healthy cell. The equiscope is able to read the energy of the cells with the biofeedback system. The equiscope is the only therapy with this capability. It finds the damaged cells, returns the charge, and puts the body in a state of homeostasis so that it can heal faster.

I cannot diagnose your horse. I can tell you there is a high amount of impedance in this area which tells me something is causing this. Each session builds on the last with every third being a full body / systemic. This helps get the most out of what we are treating.

There will be cellular changes for up to 30 days after treating your horse. Your horse will continue to improve/heal in that time.

As always it is helpful to have a diagnosis from a vet if we are treating an injury.

I took yesterday to enjoy the snow, but today it’s time to get back to work. Being from Maryland, I know how to handle snow. I don’t love it, but it’s fun since we don’t get snow here often. Last snow was 2018?

When treating an injury I treat the area of concern the first two session, then do a full body on the third session. I continue this cycle for up to 12 sessions for tissue healing. The sessions should be done 3 times a week. Ideally, 12 in a month.
Treating the whole body every third session gets the entire body in healing mode. Plus, your horse will come back stronger all over.
I prefer to do sessions in sets of three, especially when treating an injury, to get the best results.
I have 2 stalls for outside horses. One with a small run. Your horse will always get turn out time here even if it’s in the small turnout. I believe horses need to be able to move around to heal.
I am always open to discussing more about how the equiscope works. It has been an amazing tool to have for our horses and ourselves.

Text messages this week. I love getting good reports. Results being confirmed by vet and chiropractor ✔️
We did 9 sessions in about 3 weeks on a deep digital digital flexor tear. 12 sessions is recommended as that is tissue healing, but each individual’s response is different.

This girl has come a long way. The first time I worked on her I couldn’t get near her with anything. We quickly stuck a couple plates on her and that was it. Today we had all the wires on her and used the y- probe on her neck. She still doesn’t allow me to do much, but she at least allows her owner to assist me. She’s loving her sessions. I can’t wait to see how much she benefits.

The year is not over yet, but I want to say thank you to each of you that trusted me with your equine athletes in 2024. This was year number 4 of helping keep your horses healthy and running strong. Everything from maintenance, faster injury recovery, to performance enhancing sessions. This was a dream I had several years ago that has grown each year. Each year more people are finding out the benefits of the equiscope. I am proud to offer the therapy that the top barrel racers prefer to keep their horses strong through the year. I’m looking forward to 2025, continuing to help my current clients, and meeting more people through the Equiscope 🌟

I often get asked about how the equiscope helps navicular. The equiscope cannot heal something chronic. It can help with symptoms. For this horse, three sessions once a month helps keep him going. The equiscope helps with pain and inflammation. Cellular change can occur for up to 30 days after the last session.

I absolutely love watching the barrel race at the NFR! It is so exciting 🤩
I also love to see what each of these ladies are using for therapy. That is exactly how I ended up with the Equiscope. About 6 years ago I listened to a podcast and an NFR barrel racer mentioned the acuscope and myopulse. I went back to hear it again because it was something I had not heard of before. I started researching and ended up with the equiscope (same therapy in one machine vs. two machines). Turns out this therapy has been around for over 30 years! Four years later I keep gaining knowledge and friendships through this therapy.
Notice what Kassie Mowry uses to keep Jarvis feeling his best. These ladies don’t just use this at the NFR, they are using it all year to help their horses recover faster, heal injuries faster, and keep their 4 legged athletes feeling their best.
I cannot wait to watch the final 2 rounds!

Snips is able to eat and drink even though it’s a bit messy. He is not as reactive with his left eye so I’m keeping a fly mask on him. It certainly has not affected his personality. I just finished session 2 ✅

Mr. Pony earned the equiscope last night. We found out he has what is basically the equine version of TMJ. Arthritis in the TMJ which has caused slight paralysis (nerve damage) to the left side of his face. It could get better in time if left alone. Obviously, I am not leaving him alone. I immediately worked on him last night. The first video is him eating his dinner before I put the equiscope on him. This is when I realized we had a problem. The second video is of him eating breakfast this morning. Approximately 12 hours later. Huge improvement. I will continue to work on him regularly. Hoping to see 100% improvement with the help of the equiscope.
