I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving!
Couple of announcements!
1.) I am fully back to work with no weight restrictions for my back. I will have pain the rest of my life but it is what it is. Like everyone, I have my good and bad days and boy do I know when it's gonna rain 😆
2.) Christmas is right around the corner, and I'm filling up appointment spots quick. If you are wanting in before Christmas, please message me soon. By the end of this week, I'll more than likely be fully booked.
3.) I will be closed from December 24th to December 29th. And then closed January 1st and 2nd.
4.) This decision has not been easy for me to make, but starting the 1st of 2025, I will be increasing my prices. With the cost of living, rent, grooming tools and supplies going up, I had to give. I will not be increasing them by a bunch though. There will be a $5 to $20 dollar increase depending on what the services is. I will not be charging "big city" prices so please don't think that I will.
5.) Please please communicate with me if you have other things going on the day of your appointment. I have had a big influx of clients not picking up their pets in a reasonable time frame and not giving me and reason as to why or any heads up at all. I do not have the space for dogs to stay for hours and hours after their appointment. I am not a boarding facility. It is also not fair to the dogs that have to hang out here when they would much rather be home with their family. Starting the 1st, if you are more than 30 minutes late to picking up your pet with 0 communication, I will start charging a dollar a minute as a "holding" fee. I really do not want to do this. So please communicate with me so we can avoid this. I understand things happen that can cause hold ups, I get that! But ignoring my calls or texts when I'm trying to find out what is going on really doesn't help. If you know you have something going on that may hold you up for pickups, please let me know and we can work out a solution and no charge. But I must be kept in the loop.

I appreciate everyone of you for sticking with me especially with the broken back situation! I hope to continue to see all your furry friends throughout the next year and years to come 😊

🐾Happy Holidays!🐾

Update on my back!
I had my one month appointment and unfortunately my back is still very broken. However, it is healing. Full recovery for my injury is usually around 3 months. BUT! I am having very minimal pain thankfully and she was very happy with my movements and that my left leg is back to normal. With that, she said I can start grooming again. She would like me to not lift over 20 pounds, but said if I'm feeling good and not pushing myself too hard, lifting a little more should not be an issue. As long as I don't go crazy lol!
I do have to go get an MRI for my neck eventually here soon. My mother told the specialist I've had neck pain for a long time, way before my fall and she did a reflex test and didn't like something. So I will be having that checked out. Waiting for there phone call on that.

So, I am going to start getting back into grooming. I am still going to take this slow. I really don't want to go backwards in my healing. I'm not going to pack days completely full and I'm going to give myself breaks. Grooms will also probably take longer than usual. So if you do get scheduled with me, please give me heads up if you have plans you need to make it to so that I can schedule accordingly.
I am going to wait a little longer on large and extra large dogs for right now just to be safe. However I will be scheduled a few larger dogs here and there that I know I physically don't have to lift at all, to see how I feel and how it goes.

Thank you everyone for your patience, prayers and get wells! You've all helped make this unwanted adventure a little easier.

And thank you Emily (Fabulous Fluff Grooming and pet services) for helping take as many of my clients as possible. And for the continued help I know she is gonna be giving me 💜

Hey everyone. I know I never post on here but I do have some news.
On sunday my horse and I fell down a hill and he landed on me. Unfortunately, we found out today I did more than what the ER had seen. I fractured my L2 spinal disk. I have more appointments to go to but they predict I'll be out for 8 weeks.
I am very sorry for all the inconveniences this is gonna cause, but unfortunately I won't be grooming for a while. I'm praying I heal faster than that, but for now I'm at the mercy of my back.
Thanks everyone for understanding. I'll keep everyone updated as I heal.
