Introducing Rhaenyra a sweet deaf bully mix looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish her, make positive reinforcement sign training/enrichment a priority and always keep her safe.
This gorgeous girl is approximately one year old and 51 pounds. She is fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, and heart worm negative. She appears housebroken and loves her kennel. Rhaenyra loves toys and loves other dogs! She is completely white. She is a super sweet girl who is ready for her forever home!
A fully fenced yard is required. Her ideal home would also have another playful dog or be an active family. She is a happy and loving girl who is ready to learn what life is like. 🤍

Rich update
His surgery went very well. During surgery for his FHO the dr also discovered Rich also had a cracked pelvis. That has been corrected. He‘a I’m a sling and recovering very well. He will need to stay at the vets office a little longer to make sure everything sets properly.

He’s been in very good spirits and handing with other pups at the vets office.

As soon as we get the ok for him to relocate he will be going to his forever home.

Hey guys I have a huge favor to ask.
REAL ESTATE AGENTS IN NEW ORLEANS AREA... PLEASE HELP 💜

Many of you know that Hammy and Asia have been looking for a home through my rescue for over a year. Well we have a solution... THEY MAY HAVE A HOME TOGETHER.... WAITING ON THEM.... HOWEVER....

We need to find a HOUSE TO RENT that will allow their new family to live there with them. Insurance for bully breed can be purchased if needed!! They are super friendly and sweet I promise!!! They sleep all day and would never be left alone outside in a yard!! They are both kennel trained and non destructive and the family is a single guy with a job 🤷‍♀️ couldn't get any easier.

It doesn't have to be huge and fancy, but big enough for these 2 to be happy. Most preferably a fenced in yard. 1 bedroom is okay!

Locations: Kenner, Metairie, New Orleans, Chalmette, Westbank, Laplace, and possibly even northshore and Ponchatoula are all options, but Kenner and Metairie is where work is so that's preferred. Budget is questionable but i'd say about $1,200 or less, they're not rich. My rescue would be helping them out financially if a place is found.

PLEASE SHARE! This is the perfect opportunity for these 2 to finally have a home together, and we don't want to lose it. The person willing to take them in knows them very well and has no other pets.

Please tag real estate agents, landlords, friends, anyone willing to help share and look around for us. Suggestions are absolutely welcome! We desperately need this!!!

As many may be aware, a tornado touched down in New Orleans a few hours ago and the aftermath is heartbreaking. Nellie, one of our Take Paws Alumnus’, lost her home with her family. In the chaos she is MISSING!

Nellie is timid and is hopefully HIDING. She is not aggressive and is around 30 pounds. She is microchipped, spayed, and was last seen wearing a PURPLE AND PINK COLLAR! She is an orange/yellow coloring but may be dirty. Her family misses her and we want to find her safe!

PLEASE SHARE NELLIE AND HELP HER FIND HER WAY BACK HOME!

JONAS is now URGENT!!! Dog, kid friendly, easy to board, healthy, 1-2 yr old, UTD, fixed, 48 lb boy who was tied to a chain for his young life. He survived and is the better for it! And guess whose baby Momma just gave birth? Yep, Connor again! He and Evie were both on chains but that couldn’t stop these two love birds. 😂
Evie is giving birth in a warm home, comforted by her loving (and exhausted) foster human. These two dogs were days away from unthinkably painful endings but not anymore. Huge shout out to Abby Hunter and the women who saved her you know who you are. 😉

Cutest tongue award? Rescue, Temp Foster or Adopter needed to break 1 yr-old, 35 lb "Rosie" out of a rural shelter. Super dog friendly, lived beautifully with young child for a week, no food aggression. LOVES belly rubs, cuddling, playing, just being with you. Rosie is understandably a little unsure when she meets a new person but very quickly trusts and loves. $99 adoption fee includes spay, shots, microchip, first month's flea & heartworm prevention. "Eve", a 10 mo. old, 40 lb, fixed, vaccinated and microchipped pittie/lab mix, was literally kicked around as a puppy but she's safe now and overcome that experience to trust again. Eve bonds easily with women and children but can be wary of men and strangers at first. Eve is affectionate, easy-going for a puppy, gorgeous chocolate silk coat, would make a great running partner, tennis ball fetcher or snuggle buddy.
