Today i woke up to this review of my book and it made my day. When i set out to write this story i had no idea how many people it would touch. Thank you to everyone who has picked up a copy. I appreciate each and every one of you!!! See below....

Oh my gosh....Corey....I just finished your book and my heart is wrecked. What a beautiful tribute to your dear Chix. I have a 13 1/2 year old German Shepherd/BFF who is at the lots of meds, trouble getting around, but still hanging in there stage. Her bursts of spunkiness are getting shorter but still bring both of us so much joy. She still loves a good sniff/stroll around the culdesac and roll in the grass. Processing your beautiful story will be healing and comforting in the time ahead, and no matter how long it is, I will continue to cherish every moment with her.

My Purpose

Over my lifetime I’ve learned that one of the best gifts on this planet is to have a relationship with an animal. Some come into your life, stay a while and leave you with loving memories.

Some come into your life, show you a love so deep, it can’t be described in words, change your life, and then leave you not knowing how to cope with their loss. For me, one of those animals was my black lab, Chix. I gave her a chance and she gave me a purpose.
