Hi, I’m Rikard Ridge 👋🐾

I’m a 3-year-old Lab mix, about 63 pounds of happy, wiggly good boy energy.

Not long ago, I spent months wandering a neighborhood with my best buddy Shoney. Now I’m safe in a foster home, and let me tell you… I am thriving. Turns out, I was always meant to be someone’s very good dog.

I love toys. I love fetch. I love people. I bring that easy, joyful vibe wherever I go. When playtime’s done, I’m all about the cuddles and will happily lean in for some love (I’m very good at that part).

I’m great with kids, friendly with other dogs, and I even know how to behave around ducks. Yep—polite and handsome. My foster says I’ve got a sweet, eager-to-please personality that makes me a perfect fit for a family or anyone looking for a cheerful best friend.

I’m ready to trade my wandering days for forever days—full of love, play, and belonging.

Hi, I’m Miss Kitty.

And I’m looking for my forever home to start the New Year.

I’m just over a year old, a petite Shepherd mix, and I have a lot of love stored up. Sometimes it comes out as kisses. Sometimes it comes out as tail wags. And sometimes… it comes out as my signature happy dance. I do it whenever someone walks by, just in case they didn’t notice me yet. (I really, really want you to notice me.)

I love people. Like, a lot. Pets, attention, sitting close, being part of your day—those are my favorite things. I’m great with kids, dogs, and cats, and I’m happiest when I feel included and loved.

This year, I’m not asking for much. Just a home where I can belong. A couch to curl up on. A human (or humans!) who choose me and let me choose them right back.

If you’re looking for a best friend, a dance partner, and a loyal heart to carry into the New Year… I’m right here. 💚

I’m a 1-year-old Chihuahua mix with a big heart and a very snuggle-friendly 14-lb body. My favorite things include cuddling close, following my people from room to room, and soaking up alllll the love you’re willing to give (spoiler: I want a lot of it).

Hi, I’m Shoneys! 🐾

I’m 3 years old, weigh about 60 pounds, and I’m basically a professional sweetheart. For a while, I wandered a neighborhood with my best dog buddy, relying on kind humans for snacks and safety. Now I’m in a foster home, and wow, turns out being cozy and loved is my favorite thing ever.

I’ll play with toys a bit, but what I really want is you. Sitting nearby. Hanging out. Being your calm little shadow. I’m naturally gentle, easygoing, and a bit submissive in the “go with the flow” kind of way. I get along great with other dogs, I’m wonderful with kids, and yes, I even have duck friends. (Long story. No drama.)

I have a soft presence and a big heart, and I’m looking for a home where I can feel safe, adored, and part of the family for good.

Even when our Rhode Island community is hurting, there are still moments that remind us why we keep showing up. 💚

Today, that moment is Granola—now officially Gizmo—finding his forever home.

In the middle of heavy days, joyful endings like this matter. They don’t erase the pain, but they sit alongside it. They remind us that love is still moving, still finding its way through, still changing lives—one very good dog at a time.

Hi, I’m Hagrid!

Sure, I look like a tough guy, but don’t let the muscles fool you — I’m a total marshmallow. I’m a 3-year-old handsome boy with a big heart, a bigger snuggle quota, and a tail that thinks its full-time job is helicoptering with joy.

I’m a pretty quiet dude most of the time, but when I love you, I really love you. Think big kisses, warm hugs, and leaning my whole body into you like a weighted blanket that purrs. I adore kids and do great with dogs — I just get excited and might jump, so dog-savvy or older kiddos are my best match.

I’ve got that perfect mix of energy and chill. I’m all in for a walk, some playtime, or an adventure… but I’m just as thrilled to spend a lazy afternoon curled up next to my favorite humans. My eyes? People say they’re soulful. I just call it “please love me forever” energy.

I’m potty trained, I have excellent recall, and I know “sit,” which I hear is a pretty big deal in the human world.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’ll make you laugh, shower you with affection, and curl up with you every single day, I might be your guy.

Hi there! I’m Granola, a 1-year-old, 14-lb Chihuahua mix with a big heart and an even bigger dream: a home of my very own.

Don’t get me wrong — my foster mom is AMAZING. She gives great snacks, lets me zip around the yard with my foster siblings, and tells me I’m handsome at least a dozen times a day (I mean, can you blame her?). But every time I curl up in her lap, I can’t help thinking… I wonder who my real family will be.

I’m a cuddlebug through and through. If you’re sitting, I’m sitting. If you’re walking, I’m following. If you’re handing out treats — well, I’m already there I’m also smart and food-motivated, which is a fancy way of saying “I will absolutely learn tricks if treats are involved.” Um, but who wouldn't?

And not to brag, but I’ve got style. Sweaters, cute outfits, seasonal looks? Yes, yes, and yes. I’m basically a tiny model who just wants to strut into someone’s life and never leave.

I’m playful, affectionate, loyal, and really excited to love my forever humans as hard as a 14-pound dog possibly can, which I know is a LOT.

So… if you’ve been wishing for a best friend who will adore you endlessly, keep your lap warm, and look adorable doing it — I might be your guy.

I think we could be perfect together.

Meet Miss Kitty — the Dancing Queen of Puppy Love who cannot believe she’s still waiting for her forever home.

This petite Shepherd mix is just over a year old and has a personality big enough to light up your whole house. Her specialty? A joyful, wiggly little dance she does for anyone who walks by — her very polite way of saying, “Hi, I adore you already.”

Meet Zenon (formerly Iris) and Indiana (formerly Toaster Strudel).

Two rescue journeys. Two very good pups. One huge reminder of why Go Fetch exists.

Zenon found her family in March 2024. Indiana trotted into the same home in October 2025. Now they’re living the kind of happy, wiggly, deeply-loved lives every dog deserves — the kind made possible by the people who support this rescue.

These “happy tails” don’t happen by accident.
They happen because fosters opened their homes.
Because volunteers showed up, even on the tired days.
Because donors stepped in so each dog could get medical care, food, and a safe place to land.
