Well our very own Pepper helped her team Sharks Flyball qualify for Crufts 2025 🏅
Unfortunately one of her teammates Bernard had an accident requiring surgery. Whilst we all love flyball and racing our dogs they are our pets first and foremost so any donations to Bernard’s GoFundMe would be greatly appreciated. (See link in the below post ⬇️)
We will also be looking to raise money through a lucky dip at our stall this weekend at Hillside Rural Activities Park for any flyballers in attendance.
£2 an entry and the lucky winner selected at random will win a custom collar of your choice 🐾
Bittersweet day today for Sharks.
Thrilled to announce that we have qualified for Crufts 2025 🦈💜🦈
But sadly today our golden boy Bernard had a freak accident and has broken his leg at the qualifier. He's getting the best care possible and has been transferred to North West Veterinary Specialists where he is getting brilliant care whilst awaiting surgery.
His Emergency vet fees and surgery are estimated to be £6,600 so we are hoping to raise some money to help Rachel with this huge bill. If you are able to please consider donating to her go fund me and sharing this link with your friends too 🙏

We have a huge list of people to thank for all their help today : Raptors for hosting , ringing the vets and kind understanding when racing had to stop, Hazell for judging and giving us some time to formulate a plan after the accident. Craig, Sarah, Sam, Steven and all at Focus for being amazing at diving in to help and getting Bernard straight to the vets, the ladies from Time Flyz who splinted his leg and everyone else I've probably missed, we cannot thank you all enough.
The flyball community really pulled together today 🥰
Thanks also to everyone who has asked after him and sent messages of support it's really appreciated.
And a massive thanks to the Sharks team who managed to pull themselves together and continue racing which was no easy task given the circumstances.
Wishing Bernard a speedy recovery and sending all our love to Rachel and family xx
