As a handler, there is not much more important than a solid, stable temperament in the dogs on the end of your lead. When those solid, stable dogs also have a wicked sense of humor along with ELITE Social Butterfly tendencies, well, that’s when the fun begins!
Neiva is an 11-1/2 mos old Curly Coated Retriever and she is BOMB PROOF! She also arrived at the ring this afternoon by making full contact with ALL of the exam tables and ramps along the way.
When her judge tried baiting her after the down & back, she almost wound up on her shoulders (a favorite position).
Apologies to the show photographers for the attempted destruction of the photo setup…that backdrop looked like LOTS of fun!

It’s Back to Back Best of Breed wins for Dave Grohl!
Gorchest’s Breakout March Madness picks up a total 4 points, including his second, second 3-pt Major, at Mid-Susquehanna KC on August 27/28. Esteemed judges were Mr David Kittredge and Mr Al Ferruggiaro.
Dave now has 9 points with both Majors!
