Went to visit Shiva today and she was gone. 😥

She was transferred to a rescue where she’s gonna be fostered and hopefully adopted. I’m struggling with this because I’m glad she won’t be in the kennel anymore but I really want her with me deep down. I’m contemplating asking my leasing office to allow me to get her cuz that’s the main thing holding me back from applying for her myself.

Sigh.

Check this out!!! Way more adoptions happened than I even knew about 😍😍😍😍

What a great day at The Humane Society of Harford County! Today 26 animals (9 dogs, 12 cats, 2 kittens, 1 rabbit and 1 chinchilla) were either adopted or transferred to a rescue group!

Among this group of animals was our longest term dog resident, Louie. This lucky boy’s new dad fell in love with Louie at first glance of a photo posted on social media. Then he came to visit Louie daily at the shelter for several weeks until Louie learned to trust and love him back. Louie had been very stressed since his old owner passed away, and he ended up at the shelter. He truly needed this special connection, and we are elated he found it! With such an amazing amount of patience and dedication shown to Louie already, the sky is the limit for this duo!

Happy lives Louie, Jazz, Kacey, Toby, Scout, Sailor, Eskimo, Range, Chicky, Skyler, Cousteau, Milo, Butterscotch, Ritchie, Crown, Mr. Claws, Eskimo 2, Hogwarts, Kai, Kaya, Sophie, Koi, Charlotte, Channing, Clarebelle & Curious!

Today was a great day at the shelter...Jazz got adopted this morning!!

When we made our daily visit today we saw that Jazz wasn't there anymore and also Eskimo but Jazz got adopted and Eskimo got sent back to a previous shelter he was at so I pray that he finds a home soon.

I saw a dog today that I had not seen previously named Dewey and he's been there since July of last year. He didn't even bark at me he just stared at me like telling me please just get me out of here. I am going to share his information if anybody might be willing to consider a dog that's been sitting in a very small space for 6 months now.

I've made friends with a beautiful little girl named Blue and my 16 year old fell in love with her as well. I can't wait for the day she gets adopted; I'm going to post pictures of her.

Another new little girl today was Pancake who is a young Shepherd I'm going to post pictures of her as well.

Meanwhile Shiva is doing great and today had a pink blanket on her bed which she is loving so much and it is just awesome to see her everyday.
