Here I am in Queensland, just had 4 extra-ordinary days shooting the Mount Isa Mines Rodeo and now I have a few days here to complete media / sponsor duties then I'm looking for work!
Home is NSW but with the State in lockdown there's nothing there. I do have some work in September in QLD so the plan is to stay if it's viable.

So if you need an event photographer, sports photographer, need to get a stallion or stud shoot done. Maybe you have a rural property / business website updated ?
Are you getting married in the next 6 weeks or so and need a wedding photographer ?
Perhaps you want to get a small group together on a property with horses and I'll teach you how to shoot ?
Or just one on one tuition ?

Right now I'm in Mount Isa and will travel to Townsville this weekend for a shoot. Beyond that, I'm on the road !

Moranbah Campdraft was very tightly contested. 320 starters & 38 Finalists.
Breks Duck Yeah & Pete Comiskey ran =2nd in Rd1 with a 90 (23 63 4), Bryony Puddicombe winning with a 91. In the final it was all or nothing, and they chose all. A round winning 91 (23 64 4), saw them win overall with a one point margin.

The second horse on the list to be auctioned off is Breks Duck Yeah! Duck Yeah is in his first season of campdrafting and has taken to it like a Duck to water. Having run big scores on multiple ocassions. He won the Maiden at Tambo earlier this year.

His progeny have great temperaments and very feely. They have also been selling well at the big sales.

The Cloncurry Restricted Open Campdraft has been run & won by Hazelwood Conman mare Breks Conducktress & Terry Hall.
A very close 2nd was another Conman mare Durkins Jewel with Will Durkin. Will also ran =3rd with Cantaur Park Guardian (by One Moore Daddy) tying with Eltorrio (by Daleys Playrio) & Ben Hall.

Breks Duck Yeah has made up for the ground he lost last year due to Covid. 2021 has seen him final in most drafts he has entered and recently he placed =3rd in the Paradise Lagoons Open and he won the Tambo Maiden. Scores of 91 have become common place.
Congratulations to Duck Yeah & Pete Comiskey on their stellar performances.

The wins just keep coming for Select Sires stallions this weekend.
Congratulations to Breks Duck Yeah & Pete Comiskey winner of the Tambo Maiden B campdraft.
A 90 in Rd1 & an 88 in the final saw them win easily with a 4 point margin. At the ACA National Finals and Paradise Lagoons it was back to back great runs, but the win eluded them. Wonderful to see it all come together at Tambo.

It's been a great couple of weeks for Duck horses! Duck Yeah with Pete Comiskey placed in the Open draft at Paradise Lagoons, Ducks Regal (aka "Evil") ran a 91 at Rolleston with Tim Duggan in the saddle, Wicked Duck and Tim McCarthy won the Open draft at Barraba, and Ducktallic won the Amateur Derby with Ashleigh Meagher at Scone! Congratulations 👏👍💪🦆

It's funny the things that pop when you look through results. If there was any doubt of the impact John Brekelmans "Ducks" have had on the campdraft industry, they will instantly be dispelled by looking at a snippet of Pete Comiskey's current team of horses, or should we say gaggle of ducks?
