Puppy selection happens at 5 weeks of age to allow each puppy the chance to develop their unique personality and physical traits. Selections are made in the order of deposits. We know it can be a little disappointing not to pick a specific puppy right away, but time and time again, we’ve seen families fall in love with a puppy that was completely different from what they first imagined. ❤️

You can be confident that any of these sweet puppies will make a wonderful addition to your family. Bernedoodles are smart, affectionate, and social dogs that love people of all ages. 🏡

These puppies combine the best traits of their parents: our beloved F1 Bernedoodle, Stella, and the outstanding red and white Moyen AKC Poodle, Jasper. As small-scale breeders, we prioritize quality over quantity, planning our litters with care based on the mother’s needs, natural timing, and occasionally our own personal schedules. This means we don’t have puppies available all the time, and we can’t guarantee specific timing for special occasions like Christmas or birthdays. While the idea of a puppy under the tree on Christmas morning sounds magical, the reality is that the right timing for a puppy doesn’t always align with the holidays.
We understand the rush to find a puppy for the holidays—it’s exciting, and we truly get it. However, while we don’t have puppies available for Christmas morning, we believe that waiting for the right puppy at the right time can often lead to a more meaningful and thoughtful decision. Bringing a puppy into your home is a big commitment and should be approached with care, not as a last-minute decision you might later regret.
While we’ve been part of some wonderful “surprise puppy” moments for families, they were always the result of careful planning, intentional waiting, and thoughtful preparation. Puppies are adorable and bring so much joy, but they require time, attention, and a lot of love. Without that preparation, that “perfect” Christmas puppy can quickly become mom or dad’s responsibility once the novelty wears off.
