Dancing for doggie dinner xx
Bree has a bit of a quirk. She just HAS to either use her words or do tricks to be able to eat her doggie dinner.
Here she does both.
Cant we communicate the old way Mum?
Anything to avoid “the words”. Bree and I have a special bond where we just look at each other, and know as best can be, the general theme of thought and need.
In this clip Bree defiantly avoids using the “want” button, instead she repeatedly attempts to pass me her treat dish.
I was eating my breakfast of peanut butter on rice cakes... and she wanted some too!!!Peanut butter is her favourite treat food .

Love You Bree ###
The shipment of twelve more Fluent Pet buttons arrived last month, and we have been adding a new button every few days.
Bree lives the attention when we play “Love You” ###
Tomorrow we add a “cuddles” button
Still working with the two buttons, but the new set of 12 buttons are due to arrive any day!
Day 7 - one week with AAC!
4th February - One week in! And wee pretty much got “treats” nailed!
The next focus is the “outside play” button.
Bree love her ball and her tug tog, as well as playing with her doggie farm friends Miro, Hose and Bess, who we hope to introduce this week xx
Day 5 - Random Treat Test
Day 5 - Random treat tests.
2nd February - Spontaneous lessons with the “treat” button xx
I love how Bree was too lazy to get off her day chair, and instead attempted to press an imaginary button on the chair itself xx
Day Two - on a roll!
30th January - Day Two, and Bree truly clicked on the concept of *press the button - get a treat*
Day one - The first lesson
29th January - Settled in place in our home .. we set off on our journey to introduce the buttons to Bree.
Bree knows “gimme five”, so I hovered my hand close to the “treats” button so Bree would ‘accidentally’ hit it.
After a day of doing this, she finally got the idea that if she hit the actual button herself, she’d get the treat quicker instead of all the misses and repeat commands
Day one - the AAC kit arrives!
28th January 2021 - Today the postman delivered the tester kit from Fluent Pet. We set the two buttons up with “treats” and “outside” - here my three year old granddaughter Zoe tests the buttons out xx
