The Highway Code has changed from today (29.01.22)

When driving, you should now pass horse riders and horse-drawn vehicles at speeds under 10 mph and allow at least 2 metres of space. Check the changes, let’s keep each other safe.

We have multiple dogs requiring treatment who have fallen ill following walks in Wheldrake Woods.

Among the symptoms are vomiting, diarrhoea and lethargy.

While we don’t have a clear diagnosis on what could be causing this, we recommend avoiding the woods with your dog at this time.

If your dog becomes unwell following a walk, please contact your vet for further advice.
