It has been quiet on this page for some time now. That's all for a good reason 😊. Roughly 2 months ago I probably became one of the most luckiest people on this earth and was offered a position to contract out to Animal Instincts Australia (AIA) as a coach.

In-between working with my valuable clients I am now working along side AIA and helping students and adults who are with NDIS to get connected with all kinds of animals, some of my clients are learning how to train animals such as horses, dogs, kittens and gaunie pigs. It has be an amazing journey to watch how every animal in this program has changed so many lives already!!

As for my personal business I am still running one on one private sessions when I get the chance, but I am now working more with my Canine Training Camps as I've been seeing a lot more success doing this and it is what's working best for me to keep running. On the plus side provided your puppy and/or dog is safe they are aloud to come along with me to AIA and get a lot of socialisation training and interactions. Not only that but your canine is with me for 4 weeks and in that 4 weeks they go through obedience training, house training and addressing any individual needs.

I've been very privileged to meet and train little James since he was an 8 week old puppy. We have covered some basics already such as sit, lie down and come. In the last two sessions James has been learning crate training, how to calm down and stay calm and getting used to his harness and walking on a lead. James's owner is doing a fantastic job with his training in-between my visits!

Do you or do you know someone with an obedience trained/well trained dog who would love to further educate their/your dog? Would you like to learn how to have more fun with your puppy and/or dog?

Trick training is not only fun, but it is one of best ways to stimulate your pups mind and it is very rewarding for both you and your canine. It's also a great way to get a closer bond between you and your best mate.

Trick Training goes for a one hour session with some breaks in between (this helps to keep the dog interested). $90/session.

Tricks may consist of:
- putting toys away in a box
- opening and closing drawers
- shake, speak, roll-over, spin, etc.

I have recently been given this absolutely adorable pup from a family who's circumstances have changed and could no longer keep her. She was born deaf so she'll be learning a lot about hand signals, body language and touch. She is a ball of energy, but she is very affectionate and loves attention. She will only be with me short term, she will be looking for her forever home once she has had more training and when the right person or family come along.

Business up and running again from the 19th of July!!!

I am back from my awesome trip to Cape York. It was a fantastic trip away to say the least, but i am very happy to be back with my fur babies🙂.

I can't wait to see all of my valuable client's and I look forward to meeting new one's 😃.

I am currently away from the 23rd of June to 16 of July. The destination for this holiday is Cape York/Northernmost tip of Australia!! We now have only TWO after school hours group session places available at 3.30pm on Tuesday and Friday. Groups are a maximum of 3 students and run for 90 mins.
We work with horses/ponies, dogs, cats and farm animals learning emotional regulation, non-verbal communication and body language, social engagement, confidence, self-awareness, general life skills, and improve fine and gross motor skills. ALL achieved with our animals as the teachers :)

Had this awesome little pup stay over for two weeks of Canine Training Camp. Varric learnt how to politely interact with farm animals, how to keep calm when visitors came over and how to just keep calm and chill out in general. He started to pick-up on toilet training. He participated in a group training session and done amazing and loved it.

Are you struggling to get your pups out due to work commitments and shorter days. Or is the weather cooling down and making it a struggle to get out of bed. Hope Canine Training is happy to help!!! Book now for a minimum of 1 hour walk/playtime for just $25/hr (maximum of 4 hours). Your dogs will be picked up and taken to the nearest dog friendly park/play area and then dropped back home. They will learn basic obedience while with us including walking on a lead without pulling and crossing the roads safely.

I've been having a great time lead training Bear and on our training session today I thought this sign was very fitting for him.... Bear is a big softy in reality. He may have the looks for a guard dog but not the attitude 🥰

Hi everyone!

Any comments, feedback and thoughts are greatly appreciated.

As previously mentioned we had our first puppy class before Easter and it was a big success. Which means I am going to do regular group sessions😁. I would like to know how many would like to do group sessions and what times and days would best suit/work out?

During school times Monday to Friday after school hours. E.g. 3:30 or 4pm start and run for an hour.

And/or

Saturdays before 12pm.

There will be obedience classes (beginner, intermediate and advanced), socialisation classes, puppy classes (8 weeks to 4 months), teenage classes (5 months to 12 months), trick training classes, enrichment classes and much more.... Prices will vary depending on classes.

School holidays will be more flexible times from Monday to Friday and there will be kid interactive classes where your children can learn all about puppies and dogs and learn how to train their own puppy or dog.

My last five Saturdays have be absolutely GREAT!! Thanks to this awesome team and your pups for taking the chance and being my first group class. I've really appreciated your support and feedback. I had the privilege to look after and train the absolute cute girl Marley for a week here at home. She needed help to learn how to walk on the lead and not lunge and get over excited when seeing a nother dog. Her mum and dad sent this through to me for an update...... 😊

Just want to thankyou for caring for Marley for the week and to let you know that her training has been definetely worth while. She is walking on the lead so much better and does not pull our arm off if another dog barks at her when walking. Thanks again and we will definetely use your services again in the near future.

4th session of puppy/young dog school and I am really proud of both owners and pups with your achievements😀. Today everyone learnt about crossing the road safely and played a game to see how well the relationship is going with onwer and pups and everyone done amazing!!!

Here at Hope Canine Training we also specialise in making custom dog collars and leads. Collars are made of high-quality American paracord and leads are made of high-quality Australian rope. Both collar and lead are mildew resistant and dry quickly if you have a water loving pup.

Prices vary depending on lengths of lead and size of collar.

Little Benji stayed over for a few nights and it so happened to be is birthday while staying with us and yes he got extra special treatment, cuddles and special breakfast with is favourite foods. 🐕😍. Happy 1st Birthday Benji 🐕🐶🎂

Marley is my first client here for a week of Dog Training Camp. We are spending the first 24 hours getting know and trust eachother and letting Marley become familiar with her surroundings. The welfare of the pups comes first and I want them to feel at home and enjoy their training 🐕🥰

Today was our 3rd puppy/young dog training group and I am starting to see very happy and proud puppy owners and all the puppies are doing amazing and are improving at each session.

Jack and Rusty booked a couple of nights holiday at Hope Canine Training while their mum and dad went away😉. They enjoyed going for the walks around the property, playing fetch in the yard and chilling.

Are you going away over the Easter Holiday and need your best mate to be looked after???

Hope Canine Training offers a home away from home while you go away. Here the dogs get to do what they naturally love. Run around the house yard and play games of fetch etc. They'll get to go exploring in the morning and afternoons around the property on lead or off lead (provided your dog has good recall and controlled). Their room is an above ground kennel for safety and security.

Bedding, food and food bowls are to be provided by the owner

Pickup and drop off service is available at extra cost

Optional $10 bath before returning home

$25 per dog per night
