Im finally starting back to work next week. I have a long list of people who have been waiting for appointments which I am currently working my way through contacting. If you don’t need an appointment at this time please just let me know.

Unfortunately I will continue to be off work until around 2nd week if of February (if things go to plan) if your dog needs a groom before then I can recommend another local groomer to help you out in the meantime.

Due to health reasons I will be closed from 28/11/23 until approx beginning of January. I will post when I am able to get back to work.
I am booked out until the 21/11/23. Sorry for any inconvenience & I look forward to seeing all my second family of dogs when I return.

Microchip Special for May $10 Per Pet 🐕🐈
Lots of un microchipped pets have been showing up at the animal shelter over the past few weeks. I would love to see this number reduced.
For the month of May I will be offering pet microchipping for $10 per pet.
If your pet is microchipped & gets lost, the rangers can usually return them straight to you, saving them a trip to the shelter.
Appointment required for microchipping.
Please msg if you want to book your pet for a microchip. Also if you have recently moved or changed your phone number please be sure to update your details, which is free to do. If you need help doing this I’m happy to point you in the right direction.

Cancellations:
Due to getting a lot of last minute cancellations & no shows I’m going to have to implement a new policy of charging people 50% of their appointment fee, if you don’t show up or if you cancel with less than 24hrs notice. This will be implemented as of 1/5/2023.
As a small business it’s very hard for me to survive when people don’t attend their booked appointments.
If you chose not to pay the cancellation fee I won’t be able to offer you any further appointments.
If someone has an absolute unforeseen emergency of course I am open to discussion but all to often people are cancelling out of personal convenience .

As we are now entering the crazy Christmas period, just a reminder that I am heavily booked, with back to back appointments so please try to be on time for your appointment. If you are more than 10mins late for your appointment I most likely won’t be able to fit you in. It’s also important that dogs are collected on time as I have limited holding space.
I only have a few spots left for grooming before Christmas so if you are wanting your dog done please get in contact sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment. Thanks 🎅🏻

Be extra vigilant in checking your pets for ticks & keeping up to date with tick prevention. It’s also a good idea to do your inside only cats just in case as we are entering peak tick season

New opening hours:
My work days/hours are as follows:
Monday 9:30-5pm
Wednesdays 9:30-5pm
Thursdays 9:30-5pm
Saturdays 9:30-5pm
Please try to keep phone calls to during these hours. I don’t answer work calls prior to 9am or after 5pm or on Sundays. Msgs may be answered out of work hours if time allows.
There is currently about 2 weeks wait for an appointment & 3/4 weeks wait for a Saturday appointment. Please try to plan ahead to avoid delays or disappointment.

New Client Policy:
Due to quite a few new clients booking appointments then not showing up, I am unfortunately having to implement a new deposit policy.
If it is your first time booking an appointment with me, you will be required to pay a 20% deposit to secure your appointment.
This amount will be deducted off your groom total once it has been completed.
If you don’t show up or cancel with less than 48hrs notice this deposit will not be refunded.
It is very hard on small business when people book appointments then don’t show up.
If there are extenuating circumstances then I will be open to discussion about refunding deposits.

Just a reminder that tick season is upon us & with all the wet weather its likely to be another bad season.
I have already removed a few ticks from dogs over the last few weeks.
If your dog isn’t on regular tick prevention now is a great time to start. There are lots of types of prevention available now that are highly effective & most can be purchased online at reasonable prices.
Also don’t forget to regularly check your dogs & cats for ticks, especially if they have been in the bush.
