Hey folks. Our final pickup will be this weekend, get your orders to me by tomorrow and no later, as east coast exotics will no longer be carrying a variety of products. I'm working at locating a reliable source for crickets, bulk cork, and other supplies that will be cut, so please bare with me at this time, as I rely on this as much as you all do. Thank you for the continuous support over the last year, and I'm so grateful for the opportunity I had been given.

Hey amazing friends and customers, many of you know (and some do not) Damian who owns and runs this business is away working on his career goals out of province and out of media range for the foreseeable future.

This does not interrupt our regularly scheduled (and sometimes emergency) rescuing and rehoming of reptiles and not so furry friends!

If you have questions about your awesome adventure buddies, please still reach out!
If I don't have the answer I will do my best to get a hold of Damian when he reaches out, or I do know some of his mentors.

I'm his mum Kate and will continue to drive to Bridgewater and supply Sou'West NS with products from East coast Exotics monthly.

There have been some policy changes due to non payment and non pickup of items.

*** At this time we do NOT move live rodents. I do not have the ability to house and care for them. Nor do we support Live feed***

We do require orders be placed and payed for 72 hours in advance.
You will have 48 hours to pickup from us on Clyde River, or your order will be sold off and NO refund will be given to you.

We have very little mark up on products, we are only trying to pay for the ever increasing price of gas to drive and pickup. (Aren't we all!)

Please be aware over the next couple of months we may have small price increases to reflect that but they will be posted.

Hey folks! Talk about uncertain times. If youre worried about your reptiles, here's some advice I can offer. Reptiles and amphibians are some of the most sensitive animals alive, meaning it takes far less to stress and upset them than a dog or cat. If you believe your reptile was exposed to smoke, provide a warm soak, and listen to their breathing for a whistle, as they could develop a respiratory infection. Make sure to provide clean water, ideally enough for them to submerge them in their face in. Keep handling to a minimum to keep stress low, and if you left your tank behind you can throw a temp bin together! If able try to make arrangements with your vet, so you can get an examination for any potential issues. We can get through this together! 🐸

As many of you know, last night we had to evacuate. The animals are safe(thanks to this incredible community of support) and we have a roof over our heads. If you believe you too may have to evacuate, and don't know how to safely transport your exotics, please contact me, I'll walk you through it. No critter left behind, we're in this together.🐸🐸

If you would like a refund that won’t be an issue, or I can keep your money and have your order for the 18th. If you need anything changed or added let me know.If you’re completely out of insects, I have some mealworms, superworms, and nightcrawlers I can hook you up with on the house so don’t worry about hungry critters. Hey everyone. In the past week, I’ve seen a HUGE influx in axolotls being rehomed, believe me if I had the time and space I’d take them in a heartbeat. That being said, these animals are NOT for the faint of heart. You need to be providing a large tank, personally I wouldn’t go less than a 60 gallon, and be doing regular (think daily) water checks to make sure you don’t have any ammonia or nitrate spikes. With a larger tank, the larger amount of water will give you a bit more time to notice an influx in nitrate or ammonia, so you can catch it before it becomes a problem. I know it’s tempting to want to ‘save’ them whenever you see a Facebook post, but it’s so so important that you have a solid understanding of their care and needs, to not worsen the situation. I only skimmed the surface about these guys, so If you have any questions don’t hesitate to message me!
