Good evening everyone, well there's good & bad news 💁🤦

Good first, PayPal has now transferred back 2 seperate amounts that had been frozen £356.11 & £183.36
Total £539.47 yippee 💷💷💷

Now the bad, due to PayPal not allowing us to use anymore we no option for NOW to archive FFP 😞

Now to give away this cash before we archive we feel it's only right to ask the members for any suggestion as to who we should donate to, without the amazing members & their support we couldn't have helped soooooo many over the 2yrs we have been running 💚💚💚

Let's split between 3 so approx £179 each so let's hear ure suggestions 🤷 we will decide & donate Sunday

Again TY all for the continued support

MY CHRISTMAS WISH. My name is Axel and I am a special dog with a disability. I am only five years old and I hope for a special forever home this Christmas. I have a rare brain disease called Hydroxyglutaric Aciduria or L-2-HGA. This affects my nervous system and makes me wobbly with co-ordination problems. I have tremors, muscle stiffness when I have exercise or get excited or stressed. I need a calm place as the only apple of your eye in a home without hustle and bustle and pressures. Some days are known as 'wobbly days' where I struggle to make my legs go in the direction I want. On my good days, I can run, I can jump, I can play but as always I am able to love you. I have now spent over 6 months in kennels and have waved off many dogs to pastures new. My humans are teary but I keep smiling and cope very well. Tough cookie, that's me!. Smiling is my thing even on my wobbly days. My friends tell me I am adorable and very handsome and give me big squeezes. I can fall asleep on your lap having a cuddle any day of the week. It's thought that I often get overlooked as I cannot go on long walks ever and my disability has no cure and the possibility of a limited life. My rescue feed me a special diet and supplements to try and help me. My only Christmas wish is for a quiet warm local home and the love from a human. Despite me being a celebrity at my charity I hope to find the centre stage in life with a kind individual that won't expect too much from me. Christmas comes but once a year and when it does it brings good cheer. Sending love to my supporters and hoping my "Good Cheer" is just around that corner. Please share for me as the festive season approaches.

We are about to use the last of our savings 😔

If we can't secure more regular donations we are going to very soon be forced to consider the very worst case scenario.....closing.

Our bills per month total around £15000 when you add up rent, wages, heating, electricity, water, vets bills, maintenance, internet and well the list goes on.

Coronavirus has hit us hard. Fundraising is a real struggle without being able to go out into the community on a very regular basis. Everyone is feeling the pinch and so direct debits have also decreased. We have got by these past months by doing what we can online and topping up with savings and grants. But we are not going to have enough soon.

We have helped over 130 dogs so far this year, and we hope to save more from being cruelly put to sleep in December, there are literal lives depending on us. Without us they hardly stand a chance.

Whilst we understand everyone is struggling right now and we hate that we are in this position, but we are on our knees quite frankly 😞

So please please consider setting up a direct debit for us, even if it is just £1 a month. You may not notice this amount but if we get enough people doing just that we can survive. Please help us survive.

You can find all the details on our website 🙏🏻

Gentle Jasper needs your help. 🐾

When we rescued Jasper from the pound he appeared to be neutered. However it soon became apparent that something was not right as he was having problems urinating and was unwell.

We rushed him to our specialist vets who found that Jasper had both testicles retained in his body. His blood readings were off the scale, his kidneys appeared to be damaged, his prostate enlarged and a cyst was seen on his spleen. Poor Jasper.

Jasper is now an inpatient in the veterinary hospital and he has had both the testicles removed. His blood readings have returned to normal but he is still catheterised.

We are in the ‘wait and see’ stage to see if the operation will relieve the pressure and his prostate returns to normal size and the cyst on the spleen does not get any bigger. If this is not the case he will have to have further investigations of the prostate and spleen.

The vets bill to date is over £2,000.

Please, please help us.

We have so many other dogs in with us at the minute, supporting them and their kennelling and care, that bills like this really cause us such financial difficulty. We don’t have any cash reserves or savings to help us out.

Please, even if you can only afford to donate £1 - it WILL make a difference. That’s £1 less we have to try and find.
To donate, please use the button below or by PayPal (friends & family) to: [email protected]
Many many thanks. 🐶❤️

In the past 6 months we have effectively doubled the numbers of dogs in our care., We have been inundated with requests for help with dogs at risk of being put to sleep due to owners’ circumstances, most of these are directly due to the pandemic.

We are expecting another rise in abandoned dogs as people struggle with finances due to redundancies, sickness and very sadly deaths. We have given respite care throughout lockdown – providing a safe haven for dogs whose owners are hospitalised, fleeing domestic violence or have sadly died.

A safe haven means that where possible, the dog(s) can be reunited with their owners when they are able. We have supported our community throughout this dreadful situation but we now need your support to help us through.

We continue to help the strays that we rescue from local pounds, many have been abandoned because of ongoing behavioural and medical issues. Some dogs are likely to be long term stays as we work with their special needs. With no potential fundraising events on the horizon (perhaps not until Spring next year), we are going to struggle severely through the winter months.

We are now appealing for your help. We do not want to cut our intake at a time when so many dogs are going to need a lifeline. However, the financial impact on us has been major and we cannot do this alone. Please help us to secure spaces for the dogs we currently care for and those that are going to so desperately need us in the coming 6 months.

If you can donate, any amount (nothing is too small) please, please, help us for the dogs.

Donations can be made direct to our bank account:
