Just saw my first tick on a dog! Here's a great site for tick identification, removal, diseases and more:

Tick identification is important for a number of reasons; the most important of which is figuring out what pathogens a tick may carry (and transmit). While it's typically much easier to identify an adult tick, immature ticks can also transmit diseases.

It was an average day when Dakin’s Kitten Street Team got a call about a pregnant cat spotted outdoors. There was nothing out of the ordinary about this call until the team arrived at the site.

Keep your pets safe! The next few days and nights will be extremely cold. Friday night into Saturday morning may get as low as 30 degrees below zero! Bundle up those dogs and take short walks, and provide chickens with heat lamps if possible. Then go inside and get yourself a nice cup of cocoa! 😄
