A overwhelming response to update requests yesterday thank you everyone so much ❤ its lovely to see how all furbabies and families are getting on xx some of your / our babies have crossed over the rainbow 🌈 Bridge and it really does remind us all how precious they are and how after a life time of suffering and abuse and neglect they finally found love , a family , a name and a place to call home even for a short while and with the best possible love and care ❤ thank you every single one of you that have adopted and fosterd without u it would not be possible xx and ofcourse our rescuers in Romania who saved there lives Dalila Toma xx

It has been brought to my attention that some members on the old save a life Cheshire page are not getting the updates of dogs available and in need as they are only appearing on the group page we will work on fixing this technical issue as soon as possible . Today is the day that Paypal released our account after being locked for the last 6 months. It should be a day for relief and celebration. Sadly we can still not access the account as Gayle Chapman has changed the password on the account and refuses to give us the details. We desperately need this money to pay our debts. If you know this woman please contact her and insist that she does the decent thing and give us our password. She is not a volunteer with SALC and has no right to go anywhere near our money........ .

Hi everyone. My name is Lolly and I'm looking for my forever home 🏡. My new home must be perfect as my foster mum says I should only have the best. I have not had the best start, and I will explain why. All my siblings came over and I was left behind, I had a poorly eye (it's all better now and no problems). When I did get here I stayed with a lovely lady (Cheryl) I came along amazing and was very happy. Then I was adopted by someone who just couldn't cope with a playful puppy 🐶. Instead of waiting for SALCAR to find a suitable foster home, the people put me in a dogs home. To cut it short SALCAR got me out and I went to Beverly and was very very happy 😊, sadly ill health meant I had to be moved again, I am now settled in with Pat, I'll let her carry on. Sorry if lolly, s story is long but I just want people to know it's not her fault. The sort of home 🏡 lolly needs has to be loving, very secure gardens, be home most of the time (as you can imagine lolly has separation issues). Must be active, (loves long walks) . No young children (she's very bouncy and is quite boisterous). Ok with other dogs (lives with 2).Don't know about cats. If you are interested please apply. But only if you can apply to all of the above. Thank you 😊 for reading lollys story sorry it's so long.

Boris is doing well after his operation and he is definitely getting used to the attention ( Well most the time anyway lol ) We have managed to find an indoor foster carer to look after him. So he is moving house this week one step closer to being a lap cat. 😻❤😻❤

After a lot of thinking, tears and more thinking we are pleased to inform everyone that Louis fur-ever Mummy and Daddy have been chosen. We tried to let everyone who expressed an interest in Louis know personally and we apologise if we missed anyone out, but it was a difficult choice to make 😿
There will still be updates on how he is doing as he still needs his eye operation 💜

We are very pleased to announce that today we were invited into Beechwood Primary School in Crewe, as we had been picked by a class to be their 'local heroes'. The class had made toys and cards for the cats. We did take two Ollies cats in with us...Tiny Tim & Louis (who both thoroughly enjoyed all the fuss and attention 😺).....
So go us! Ollie & Friends Cat Rescue & Save a Life Cheshire Animal Rescue are local heroes....we are so pleased 😻

We are disparate for volunteers to help us in various areas of our rescue work.

We are looking for :

Foster Carers for Cats & Dogs - All care costs and training covered by the rescue.

Fund Fundraising - Helping us to raise funds to support our rescue.

Home Checkers - Helping us to check homes are sutable for our animals

General Helpers - Help with day to day tasks within the rescue.

We are also desperate for some storage space to store equipment. Do you have a secure garage or an outbuilding local we could use or rent ??

If you intrested in joining our friendly team of volunteers and to make a difference to animals in your local area please message us we look forward to hearing from you.

Well a happy ending after going out to this young kitten found lost in a garden. We have managed to find their owner and get the cat back home. We did have to give a talk to them about mircochipping and neutering and its importance. 😻
