Here is a little funny for your Wednesday. 😂
Last night we voted to meet for dog classes on Wednesday evenings. Hopefully this works for mostly everyone! So if you are a first year member (Intro) please come at 7:45 pm and all the 2nd year and older come at 7pm. Meet at the fairgrounds.
📣 If you missed the meeting last night, here are your reminders:
*Make sure you have the supplies needed for each class. (Leashes, collars, etc)
*Animal ID is due May 15th

Our first Dog Class meeting will be Tuesday May 2nd at 7pm in the Multi-Purpose Building!
This will be an information meeting and we will be discussing which night during the week works best for everyone. 4-H’ers please have a parent attend this meeting with you if possible, we will also be asking for volunteers for different areas. Share with anyone who will be interested and hopefully we will see you then! Thanks 😊

Dog Class will be WEDNESDAY evening this week! If you missed last week and can’t come Wednesday night, please send me a photo of you and your dog. We will be putting up a booth and would like everyone’s picture! 🙂
Also Fair Clean-Up is Thursday evening at 6:30pm. If you can come help that would be awesome, we have lots to clean! It will count as a meeting if you are short. If you need specific help on something with your dog, you may bring them Thursday.

Hello everyone! 🙂 We have a someone stepping up to teach agility class! Woohoo! 🎉 😄
However she will need help moving the equipment out of the building and back into it every time. This person would need a vehicle with a hitch to attach the trailer of equipment. Anyone willing to commit to that every week? 🙂

‼️Notice change of building for tonight‼️
🦮 It doesn’t seem like it’s time to start dog classes, but it’s already May next week!! 😊
Our first meeting will be Tuesday, May 3rd at 7:30 pm in the Multi Purpose building. You do not need to bring your dog, but please come considering a couple things. Our life continues to get busier and busier as our kids grow and our life on the farm. Will is no longer going to be able to set up/teach agility. We are hoping that someone from our club (or someone you might think would be good at this) will step up so we can continue to offer this to our 4-H kids.
Also... we will be changing what nights we meet during the week. Please think about if Monday or Wednesday evenings would work better for your family! Thank you and see you all next week at 7:30pm! 🙂

We're celebrating National 4-H week with a 4-H year kick-off event for the whole family! Join us next Thursday for a fun evening! P.S. this is event is open to anyone and would be a great way to recruit some friends to join 4-H!

‼️We are in need of 1-2 people to COMMIT to helping with the set-up and take down of agility equipment for the next 3 meetings. ‼️ We lost our helper from previous years, and Will and I are struggling to do it all ourselves. We appreciate everyone who has helped so far! Agility is an exciting part for the kids and dogs and we would like to be able to keep offering it for them. PLEASE let us know if you are willing to help!! 😁 Thank You!

🐕🐩‼️ Looking for dogs ‼️🐩🐕
This is a message from Jenna at the Extension Office...
I know this is (super) short notice and a long shot... but I am hosting vet camps on Monday and Tuesday of next week with Dr. Fred Sick, and he had asked me to try to line up a nice, mellow dog to come to the camps for about an hour each day. I thought I would check with you and see if you or someone you know, (maybe someone from your club?) would be willing to bring their dog to the fairgrounds those days. Dr. Sick would just be showing the kids a basic dog exam and teaching them how to use stethoscopes.
These are the times we would need them: (also, it could be a different dog for each time slot)
Monday, June 14 at 10:00 a.m.
Monday, June 14 at 2:00 p.m.
Tuesday, June 15 at 10:30 a.m.
Again, I know this is so last minute, and if we can't find anyone, we'll come up with a plan, but I thought I would at least check! 🙂
