Archies confidence out hacking has sky rocketed. We did 3 weeks of hand walking on our hacking routes before I got back on him.
we go for adventures on our own and in big groups too with no issues ☺️ and we can ride on our winter fields after the haylage has been cut in summer!

I’m Continuously working on bettering my ridden technique. I never thought I’d be able to do training sessions like this with this horse… but yet again he surprises me.

Little throw back!
Looking forward to this year with Chocky Z. We learnt so much last year, and I’m looking forward to putting that experience to practice this year!
Really looking forward to outdoor season as he goes best outside! Some very exciting shows I’m looking at entering inc wales and west, bronze league qualifiers and lots more! But we won’t over face ourselves if I don’t feel we’re ready!
Lots more content to come next month. I’m spending January getting us both back in a nice routine after our December break 😘

Me and archie have enjoyed a good few weeks off the riding and now we’re back to it! We’re hacking as much as possible at the moment and we’re both really enjoying it.
I’m not sure what the plan is with archie this year. I’m hoping to get him back jumping soon, we’ve just got some flat work issues to correct beforehand.

How ever I missed sitting on him and thought he could do with a play considering I couldn’t turn him out in the sand pen as it was frozen ❄️☃️
I definitely need to ride without a saddle more often!
Bit late to updating you all on Archie’s test results.
As a lot of you know we took him up to hirds get scoped for ulcers. We epected him to have them but the severity we wernt sure of as his behaviour has changed dramaticly (in a good way) over the past year..
Drum roll
Not one ulcer or bit of inflammation in sight! A miracle result really as it would’ve explained him being sharp at times and the fact I had a professional advise me that he ”definitely has them”
So back to it!
I am hoping for a great year next year, I have some goals I would like to tick off the list with him.

Been quiet on here recently! Been focusing on getting archie settled on his new diet and new excercise regime ✨
First jump on him tonight since south view and honestly it couldn’t of gone better, he was on form I was on form, he nearly jumped me out my saddle at one point and usually he’s not that careful at home!
Excited for kelsall Saturday, we’ve not been since we did unaffiliated there a year ago! Will be nice change of scenery for both of us, and the cafe is one of the best 🤣
