Then there were two ❤

🎄Timber and Tala are our last two snuggle pups waiting for a Christmas tree to cuddle under. Both do well with kids and would make fantastic family companions, are eager to please, and quick to learn.

Timber is social, with a great off switch, a thinker, and enjoys cuddling up right next to her person.

Tala is very sweet, affectionate, and her favorite place is right next to you. She is gentle with kids, intuitive, and loves to please.

❄️Had a lovely visit today with our friends at Holiday Kittery Estates today. It’s such a joy to see the community get to engage with the pups, and so beneficial for the puppies as well!

Off to the vet after where everyone received a clean bill of health and are ready to head off to their furever families!

Timber and Tala are our last two girls waiting for families to match with!

🐾Timber is thoughtful, balanced, playful, and and fairly easy going girl. She learns quickly and likes to engage but also has a great shut off switch.

🐾Tala is so snuggly and affectionate. She loves to cuddle and will follow her person anywhere. She has a joyful and sweet spirit with such a gentle heart.

It was a rough weekend mourning the losses but today we are going to celebrate the wins.

🌈All nine Pride and Prejudice puppies have officially reached their next milestone 🤍 Eyes and ears are open!

New sounds and sights to be had for all as we begin helping them develop their newfound senses in the best ways possible. 🐾

🐾✨We also have some of the most unique and beautiful markings this litter I’ve ever seen! (Peep Wickhams ear in the photos below!)

Puppies first snow day ❄️ Everyone had such a blast! It was hard convincing them they had to come in 😅

Tala: This soft and gentle girl is a lover. She will follow you everywhere you go and will happily climb in your lap for some snuggles and kisses.

Timber: A great balanced girl. She is a thoughtful girl who takes the time to process and learns quickly. She is very connected with her person and has a willing and eager to please attitude.

Tyrza: This little lady loves to play and would thrive with a family who loves tug as much as she does. She’s confident and outgoing and could go many different directions training wise.

Being a breeder is hard.

Many will never know what it looks like “behind the scenes”. Most of social media is the highlights.

You can spend hours, days, nights, weeks pouring into the little lives in your care, only to have it gone in a matter of moments.

I’ve been called horrible things and had even worse things spoken over me because of what I have chosen to do. Some claim breeders are heartless, doing what they do to line their own pockets, without a care for the lives they’re charged with.

They don’t see the days of sleepless nights, waiting with a mama expected to go into labor….the hours spent curled in a whelping box making sure mama and babies are safe, warm, and have access to medical care if needed.

They don’t see the hours of playing, snuggling, and creating new experiences for the lives they have taken responsibility for, getting to know each little life personally and learning what makes each one thrive individually, doing the very best they know how to ensure that those puppies are something special, prepared to go with families and bring that love only a dog can bring.

They don’t see the tears and pain snuggling a little one you have cheered on from day one as they die in your arms, wishing, wondering, and second guessing if there was anything that could have been done differently.

They don’t see the person behind the paws, who has experienced the deep healing an animal can bring themselves and who genuinely wants to be a part of helping others find that “heart dog” themselves.

But then there’s the “worth it”. There’s the miracles. The ones that do survive. The families that message with the updates, sharing how their new dog has become everything they’ve prayed for, the person who now has newfound freedom because the pup they brought home, the pictures of kids being able to grow up with their childhood dog, the kid that has walked through extreme trauma smiling for the first time in weeks as a puppy crawls in their lap to cuddle, the laughs, the puppy kisses…it’s always amazing to me how even a dog who has had the hardest day often still is just happy to be with you.

There is so much more that is a part of this behind the scenes. Grateful today for those a part of our family and the team. Thank you all who have supported us and been a part of this journey.

We made it almost a week 🤍

Darcy is doing so much better with her babies, and seems to be settling into mom mode well 🤍

Puppies are all growing, gaining, and getting stronger each day.

We will be introducing everyone next week and are taking deposits for these little sweethearts. We have two girls and several boys available. We are expecting very human focused(oversized lap dogs 🙃) this litter. Both mom and dad are very affectionate, with good emotional intuition.

For those considering a service dog, we will likely have Psychiatric prospects, Autism assistance, and Therapy dog prospects.

We got to make a visit over to our dear friends at Holiday Kittery Estates to bring some love and snuggles to their residents. The joy on everyone’s faces was the most beautiful thing to see 🤍

Mopsy: This playful girl is loving and snuggly, and has no problem being in the middle of activity. She would thrive with a family looking for a pup good with little ones as she has a high touch tolerance and is gentle with her mouth.

Munca: A sweetheart with a gentle and quiet spirit. She does well in more low key environments and could be a great companion for someone looking for a calm companion or family pet.

Jemimah: She has a huge heart with so much love to give. She is confident, social, and playful, but not overly energetic. She has a good off switch at the end of the day and could really fit in most any family.

Progress 🤍

Mama Darcy is doing well and pups are moving in the right direction.

Thanks to our amazing team members who have all stepped in to help meet some of the needs this litter, all pups were able to have bellies filled and rotated all night long. Keeping pups warm, fed, and peeing and pooping is essential to survival.

Prayers answered: Darcy is getting more comfortable tending to her pups. The first day was a bit of a shock with how quickly and early pups arrived and with this being her first litter, she has needed a little help learning the ropes of motherhood.

Right now she is doing an excellent job feeding her babies but is not very interested in cleaning them or stimulating them to go to the bathroom so that’s our job for now. Constipation can kill a puppy so it’s very important to make sure they are regularly going.

For pups, everyone is developing an appropriate suckle response and is able to nurse! We had a few weak ones the first day and were close to tube feeding but they have all perked up.

Breathing has improved. We have two pups a little congested but they are breathing a lot better this morning than yesterday.

We’re not out of the woods yet as a lot can change and happen the first two weeks but we are grateful for a positive 24 hours. 🤍🐾

We’re already falling in love with these faces and can’t wait to introduce them to the world.

Did you know…there isn’t always just one “runt” in a litter? A runt is not defined as the smallest pup, but rather a pup that’s about half the size of their litter mates.

In large litters you can have puppies born of various sizes depending on nutrient availability, placental size, position in the uterine horn, and space in the uterus.

This litter we have four verrrry tiny pups. These little guys are fighters though and already are making sure they get a spot at the milk bar. We will be keeping an extra close eye on these little ones to make sure they are getting some uninterrupted time and that they are developing alongside their litter mates.

Mmm tasty 🤤 While this is instinctual and dogs in the wild are able to do this, we will only allow our mamas to eat one or two placentas during delivery and support their labor with calcium and nutrient rich cooked foods. For dogs who are on kibble and not used to a raw diet that amount of hormones and raw organ meat(yes, placentas are the only organs capable of being grown 🙃) this can cause massive diarrhea and dehydration for our mamas which is counter productive in supporting nursing and recovery from birth. “What is a guardian?” One of the things we desire for every dog in our program is that they experience the best quality of life, the love and attention of a family, and the ability to reach their fullest potential as beloved companions. We do this through our guardian program. These dogs are hand picked and matched with a family for life, and come to us for short seasons to bring that same life and love into the world for other families as moms and dads in our program. Alaska is a hopeful future mom and would come to us for a set number of litters after her health testing is completed, then would be spayed and remain with her family after retirement. About our Pups

Family raised F1 + F1b Goldendoodles

Puppies are raised in a home environment, filled with love and pampered, socialized around kids, cats, and dogs with the foundations of kennel training and potty training already in place before they settle into their forever homes.

Our parents are health tested and OFA certified to ensure that we are breeding quality, healthy dogs as well as intelligent, well rounded pets. While doodles are not 100% hypoallergenic and non shedding, F1s often do very well with people whose allergies are mild to moderate and F1b’s are better for those with more severe allergies. Doodles are generally very easy to train as they are incredibly smart and so loving you may feel like they are more like a person than a puppy! They love snuggles, playtime, and exploring new places and are wonderful candidates for service dogs and ESA’s.

We offer lifelong support for you and your new dog. We want to see you succeed! Whether you have questions about potty training, grooming, or even just general dog questions, we are happy to help in whatever way we can. All our pups also come with a lifetime “return commitment”. This means that at any point in your new dogs life, whether they are 10 weeks or 10 years, if you are unable to care for them, no matter what the reason may be, we will always accept them back and work to find a new placement for them.
