X-man is a neutered boy who was returned to me because his owner had housing difficulties. He has previously lived with other cats and a dog. He is an outgoing, affectionate boy who loves to sleep with us and would make a great pet for either a family with other pets or as a single cat. DOB 3/14/2016.

One of my kittens in his new home. He was meant to be a companion to an older Bobtail after his companion passed away. They bonded immediately and already love each other!

Ginchika is happy to announce that little Owen became a CFA Grand Premier this last weekend at the Superstition Cat Club show in Phoenix, Arizona! New GP Ginchika Otoko also went to his new home Saturday afternoon after the show! Ginchika has new kittens on the ground, so stay posted and photos will be up soon.

Little Otoko is 6 months old and ready for his new home. He stuck around here a little longer because he had an umbilical hernia and had to grow big enough to have it repaired. He’s all fixed up, neutered, vaccinated, and will be microchipped before he leaves. PM me if you can’t live without him!

Ginchika has a very nice litter of kittens born in April to Ginchika Hisako, sired by GC Ginchika Sake To Me. 4 boys, 1 blue eyed red and white, 1 blue eyed cameo and white, and 2 odd eyed cameo and white. Kittens are just starting to run around.

What a beautiful keepsake of GPD, NW Ginchika Rajesh Koothrappali, known as "Junior".

The whole concept for this painting began as a snapshot, a moment unplanned with some quick thinking. It was sent to a friend with a comment, wouldn’t this be a cute painting. That friend seized the opportunity to start the ball rolling to have a unique gift for her dear friend Jennifer in California. Using the photo, I made some adjustments on the composition then started painting. It was a change of pace for me and a delight to work on. The Japanese Bobtail , “Junior”, short for GPD, NW Ginchika Rajesh Koothrappali. (He was named after a Big Bang Theory character). GPD means Grand Premier Of Distinction. That means he showed for three years, and as well as his National Win, he made a required number of finals each year.
Junior is retired now and is able to enjoy stalking his fish under the watchful eye of his mom. I think maybe she’s just protecting the Koi!
The surprise worked out perfectly! Jennifer was absolutely delighted and the painting was hung in a perfect alcove in their home.
There was such a positive response to this painting while I was working on it at the various cat shows, that I decided to make some reproductions. At the moment I have 16x20 giclee’ editions, signed and numbered. The 11 x 14 is an open edition. I also made some 5 x 7 notecard sets with 6 cards and envelopes. Ginchika Japanese Bobtails has a retired spay available. GC,RW Ginchika Ursula Andress ("Ursula") is a 6 year old blue eyed brown tabby and white spay. she is still very active and kitten like, and can be quirky. She loves to open our drawers in the bedroom and crawl in them--and has become trapped a couple of times. All you need to do to get her to start jumping around like a kitten is a ball of paper. And she loves to snuggle with you in bed. She takes a week or so to adjust to new situations, and would be best with a calm older cat, older children, or a dog, or she would be fine as an only cat. Young cats that jump on her soliciting play stress her out. Please contact me by PM if you have additional questions or are interested in Ursula.
