What started out as a way to pay for my foster's heartworm treatment has now become my way of supporting all my fosters and helping other rescue groups as well. First off, thank you for coming to my page and taking the time to read my story about Sandy. I started this page under the name of Sandy's Story and changed it to Just Cuttin' Up Vinyl Designs by Linda to expand my ability to help animals

in need. Sandy's Story ~ Sandy aka Sarah (shelter name), is a beautiful furbaby I am fostering from JCAS. Sandy was picked up as a stray and had most likely been living on the streets for quite some time. She had been bitten on her ears and all over her body by mosquitoes. Sandy was not well cared for and possibly had been mistreated. She was missing hair across her back and toward the end of her tail. Sandy's tail actually looked like someone had tied something around it at some point. In the first 6 weeks of being in my care, I've been able to get her to a healthy weight. Her ears have healed and so have the other sores on her body. She has hair growing back. With patience and love, Sandy is now a happy, friendly and playful dog. However, when I took her in to be spayed they found a heart worm in her abdomen. I tried to get her help from every rescue organization I could find but due to the advanced stage of the heartworms, there was no help available for Sandy. I talked to many vets and pet enthusiasts who said she can possibly be saved but it will be expensive. I believe in Sandy. I believe she has the will and desire to live so I will do all that I can to give her that chance. This page is for all the supporters, whether through funds or prayers, to keep up with her progress. Sandy and I both thank you for your help and ask for continued prayers for her. Sandy's Story expanded to Just Cuttin' Up Vinyl Designs by Linda as a way to continue taking care of Sandy's medical bills and needs.
