Dog training classes starting Sunday 7th May

12pm Ring craft ( learn how to present your dog following its breed standard in a simulated show ring environment). £6

1pm Puppy play group ( off lead puppy socialisation, under 12 months) £8 per puppy

2pm General obedience drop in class ( any breed any age , for tricks / obedience and behavioural issues) £20

More classes added each week including advanced obedience, agility, loose leads and rapid recall.

Set in the heart of Astley moss , country canines offers a training/ recreation facility comprising of three separate paddocks totalling to over 5 acres making it the largest sole use facility in the North West of England.
Section one is a gated car park giving you the opportunity to prepare for your visit in the knowledge that should your dog get away from you the areas is secure.
Moving into the second area you have the time and opportunity to enjoy the stunning countryside around you and at the same time train or play with with your dog on our numerous training aids all construction from natural materials giving the field a minimal footprint on the surrounding countryside.
For the grand finale we give you the only facility and opportunity I know of to let your dog encounter farm animals comprising of sheep, ponies and chickens (when bird flu regulations allow)with the rising number of dog owners in our area and the growing demand for dog friendly holidays in the uk it is now more important than ever to make sure you and your dog are prepared to encounter farm animals (specifically sheep)on your trips out into the countryside.
We all have seen the devastating efforts caused by sheep worrying so as a farmer myself I am proud to offer this facility and help cut down instances of worrying in the future 🐶🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🙌
