A water puppy is a puppy that is suffering from a condition medically known as anasarca. It's most commonly seen in short-nosed breeds,
Puppies born with anasarca are commonly called walrus puppies, swimmer puppies, rubber puppies or water puppies. This is because they are born with a deadly amount of fluid underneath their skin. There is still not enough research done to truly understand why puppies are born with the condition. Some researchers believe that it occurs when puppies are in the birth canal too long and trauma from the contractions causes swelling, however, this is speculative.- Author.

We have 4 litters in our care now and 2 more litters coming in next week! Woohoo! 🙏

Signed, sealed and delivered! 6 out of 6 frenchies! 👍🐾

6 pups were entrusted to us 7 weeks ago… 2 of which were very weak. It was quite a difficult litter but as always, we relied on our expertise and did everything we could for these littte angels as promised!

And after 7 weeks of love and care, we are now turning over these 6 adorable frenchies to their loving fur parents. ❤️
