Another day with another successful surgery.The dog was undergoing a surgical procedure called intestinal anastomosis and splenectomy.A gastrointestinal resection and anastomosis is a procedure necessary when there is significant damage or disease to a portion of the intestines or colon.A splenectomy is the total removal of the spleen from the dog's body. The spleen is responsible for storing blood vessels and cleaning toxins from the blood. If damaged, it can bleed profusely into the abdominal cavity, causing anaemia, low blood pressure, shock and even death.The dog handled the procedure well and it was a success.

Debuddding in a calf.we gotta take those small horns(buds) off this calf to avoid overgrowing and to maintain its aesthetic value.debudding removes the cost of doing dehorning at a later stage.debudding is also easier and faster therefore encouraged.

An occular squamous cell carcinoma in a Corriendale sheep.this is a type of cancer that occurs in the eye.the effects are so adverse that it causes alot of ulcerations in the eye.this is so painful to the sheep and it qualifies for an eye enucleation.eye enucleation is a procedure whereby the eye is removed surgically.this procedure was done and the result was amazing.
All procedure must be done by a qualified veterinary surgeon.

Lambs are very cute untill when they get about 5 months old ofcourse and that's when they start becoming "stupid"😅😅.this particular lamb was one day old.not even 24hrs old.very adorable and calm.i wish some people were as calm as these creatures.what a good day💉💉🩺🩺

Rabies is a deadly virus spread to people from the saliva of infected animals. The rabies virus is usually transmitted through a bite. Animals most likely to transmit rabies in Kenya include dogs, cats and wild dogs and cats. Bats can also transmit as well as rodents.Physical signs of rabies in dogs to watch for include fever, difficulty swallowing, excessive drooling, staggering, seizures, and even paralysis. As the virus progresses, your dog may act as though they are overstimulated, meaning lights, movement, and sound may appear to have a negative effect. Today being the world rabies day, we as individuals who help eradicate this disease celebrate.
It is celebrated annually to raise awareness about rabies prevention and to highlight progress in defeating this horrifying disease. 28 September also marks the anniversary of Louis Pasteur's death, the French chemist and microbiologist, who developed the first rabies vaccine.

This Ayrshire calf was presented for castration(sterilization).this is simply rendering the calf sterile and cut off any testosterone production from it's te**is and also meaning it can't breed.some of the benefits of castration are to control inbreeding and also ensure even fat distribution all over the body.This procedure is very good for bulls kept for beef purposes.
There are various ways of doing it.the method used in this calf is a surgical technique to remove the testicles.It is a very sure way of doing castration because you're the one who keeps the balls😅😅...
The procedure should be done by a qualified and competent veterinary surgeon.

This terrier was brought in with signs of depression and inappetence.it was also reported to have been vomitting.it turns out that it had xylitol poisoning.this is caused by feeding your dog cakes and any feed that contains chocolates.let us take care of our furry friends by not feeding chocolates and cakes during our birthdays or their birthdays.
The dog was really depressed and wasn't happy to let me leave him alone. His paw was always on my hand and i was by his side as he received treatment. After 2 days he was back to his normal dog life.

This is a condition of the limbs in cattle.it is called strawberry footrot characterized by the strawberry shaped lesions.it is caused by a bacterial infection through predisposition by exposing the hooves into wet grounds for a very long time.it mostly affects calves. The calf will have the wounds on top of the hoof just on the junction with the skin.abscesses also form anywhere in the limb as it is an ascending infection.it may also have interdigital inflammation that is the space between the hooves. Treatment should be done by a qualified veterinarian.to control this, the farmer should ensure the calves live in a dry ground.the affected calves should be isolated as it is infectious thus can spread to other healthy calves.

This cat was brought in for a spay/ovariohysterectomy.this is simply the removal of the ovaries and uterus.it is done to prevent it from breeding and getting pregnant.it is the surest way to control breeding and is good for people who don't like having kittens around.it is a safe procedure and is done for 30-60minutes.
It should be done by a qualified veterinary surgeon.The reddish colour on the cats belly is iodine and is used as a disinfectant and used to clean after surgery.
Now we have a happy cat and a happy client.

This poor mother had a long hard time.her labour was too long and and couldn't deliver her babies.after some attempts by quack vets for 1 hour they couldn't get the babies out so they advised the client to slaughter the mother to salvage her.The good Veterinary surgeon was called in to check in on the goat and advise.after some attempts to deliver the babies by traction,the young kids were out.tgr client was convinced they were dead because of the long labour and considering the advise of the quack.to her suprise,the kids were alive and kicking.moreover,they were twins.
What a beautiful day for me and the client.
I highly advise consulting a qualified veterinarian to help in obstetrics to avoid losses.

A day with the horses.This c**t was presented for a castration.castration in horses is done to control inbreeding and to facilitate selective breeding.inbreeding happens when related animals mate and produce an offspring.this greatly affects the product in many ways one being abnormalities and transfer of recessive genes.The c**t was sedated and surgically castrated.
He is happy but not a Baller anymore😅
