Charlie and I are keeping cool by keeping our playtime short and ensuring there is plenty of water and shady spots for him to rest 🐾🐾

I am a 20 year old uni student who is looking for work involving animals
I have always been passionate about animals and love to care and play for them
I have many years of owning cats and dogs and would love to help with yours
Experience
I have experience within my life of owning multiple pets, I currently own two dogs and two cats.
The two dogs are banjo (border collie) and mia (wolfhound). Due to them I'm able to handle big dogs and dogs that like to pull on walks. I'm happy to bring your fur babies on many adventures.
The two cats Archie I have owned since 8 weeks and Willow I have owned at 2 months. Willow was a rescue and used to be feral, which is why I have experienced with many different tempered animals.
I have experience with smaller dogs as I used to own a mini Maltese for 14 years and that gave me the knowledge of how to care for a small elderly dog.
I have experience with giving oral medication due to giving my own pets their medicine in a multitude of creative ways
I am able to handle and look after all general pet care including feeding, playing, cutting nails, brushing and waking your fury friends
I also have my own car and licence so to be able to transport your pets, and to ensure their safety I have a multitude of dog seatbelts and cat crates available.
I would love to be able to look after your pet In your home or take them out for the day, I am very flexible with appointments and availability so please don't hesitate to message as I can normally be of assistance most days and nights
I hope to hear from you and thank you for considering to trust me to look after your lovely pets 🙂

💤 Tips and Tricks for Calming Your Puppy While They're with a Pet Sitter 💤

🐾 When your adorable fur baby is in the capable hands of a pet sitter, it's natural to want them to feel calm and relaxed. Here are some expert tips and tricks to help your puppy stay serene during their time away from home. 🐶✨

1️⃣ Create a Familiar Environment: Provide your pet sitter with your puppy's favorite toys, blankets, and bedding. Surrounding them with familiar scents and objects can help alleviate anxiety and make them feel at ease.

2️⃣ Stick to Their Routine: Puppies thrive on routine, so provide the pet sitter with a schedule that closely mimics their daily routine. From feeding times to playtime and nap time, maintaining consistency will help your puppy feel secure.

3️⃣ Leave Calming Music or White Noise: Playing soothing music or white noise in the background can have a calming effect on your puppy. Set up a playlist or provide a white noise machine for the pet sitter to use during quieter moments.

4️⃣ Use Adaptable Comfort Products: Consider providing your pet sitter with comforting items like a cozy crate or a snug dog bed. These safe spaces can provide a sense of security and help your puppy feel protected.

5️⃣ Try Natural Calming Remedies: Discuss with your pet sitter the possibility of using natural calming remedies like lavender sprays or pheromone diffusers. These can create a relaxing atmosphere and promote a sense of tranquility.

6️⃣ Positive Reinforcement: Share positive training techniques with your pet sitter, encouraging them to reward your puppy for calm behaviour. Treats, praise, and gentle petting can reinforce relaxation and reduce any potential stress.

7️⃣ Maintain Communication: Stay connected with your pet sitter to receive updates on your puppy's well-being. Knowing they are in good hands and receiving regular updates can help ease any worries you may have.

Remember, each puppy is unique, so it's important to communicate your pet's specific needs and preferences to the pet sitter. With these tips and tricks, you can ensure your adorable pup stays calm, happy, and content while in the care of their loving pet sitter. 🐾💕
