“Sport” mecates are a great alternative to my much longer 22ft rope mecates. This style can still tie onto your favorite slobber straps, but since it comes in shorter lengths like 12ft, you don’t have to deal with the excess rope 🤠🐴

Last weekend, several horses from Natural Horse Solutions, LLC competed in the North American Trail Ride Conference (NATRC) Ride the Edge in Jamestown, TN while sporting their custom tack. From mecates to bitless halters to clip on hoof picks, many of the riders were ready to take on the challenges of this competitive trail competition ~ in style 🤠🩵🤎
