Bane whispered in my ear that he wants me to remind everyone we are completely booked for Thanksgiving and only have a couple spots left for the holidays!

I know many of us are still hanging on to summer but the 24-25 school year is upon us! Our fall is already quite busy/booked and crazily enough, so is February 2025! If you would like to reserve a highly sought after spot on the farm, DM me soon!

In just 3.5 months, there has been an incredible change in AJ. The last step to help him be in the best health possible is a surgery to remove his left ear canal so he will no longer be in pain from the inflammation and infection that will not clear up. Avett is truly enjoying the “dog days of summer” on the farm! He also wants me to tell everyone far and wide we are in such high demand that we are unable to accept reservations from new clients until NOVEMBER 5th!!!!!! I cannot thank everyone enough for the incredible support in this venture. We haven’t even “officially” been in business for 2 years- this warms my heart so much!!

Please keep in mind we are CLOSED 10/26-11/4 for some R&R and we are already completely booked for Thanksgiving 🥰

This might sound crazy but have you made your fall, winter, and especially, HOLIDAY travel plans yet? If so, send those dates to make sure your dog can get a highly sought after spot at the farm! Thanksgiving is already completely booked, but there are a few spots left for Christmas and New Year’s.

SARAH NEEDS UPDATED DOG LICENSES!!!!

If your pup received a new rabies certificate, send those her way too!

AJ is up to date too- I took over ownership of him last week to make sure he gets the surgery he needs and to find him the perfect home. An actual go fund me will be set up once I get a treatment plan to see what I need to get to our goal, but I already have almost half of the money by a donation from the family and putting his “boarding” money toward his care. If you would like to donate before I get a go fund me set up, let me know!! I appreciate all the help and love this special boy is getting!! He truly deserves the best!

One of the perks of doing what I do is meeting some really special dogs and helping those dogs find their forever home. AJ came to us a few weeks ago- he was literally dropped off 4 hours after I got home from my trip to KY. AJ’s mom became very ill and was hospitalized and lived alone so there was no one to care for AJ. He spent some time with animal control until I got back because no one quite knew his story and being a Shepherd, everyone wanted to proceed with caution. AJ’s extended family has officially gotten the OK to rehome him and this is where we step in. I have been waiting and waiting and waiting for the other shoe to drop with this guy, but he is literally the sweetest shepherd I have ever met. He does have the Shepherd instinct to be vocal at people when he first meets them, but give him five minutes and he is begging for butt scratches. He has been a wonderful friend to the pups who love a good game of tag and has been an absolute rockstar with every dog he has met. As you can probably tell, he does have some medical things, so it will be very important to find him a home who understands he will require some veterinary attention, which we have already been working on and I am happy to share any and all information with interested parties. I have completely fallen in love with him and if Dozer didn’t run my house, I would be begging Mike to let him stay (trust me, I already tried). He absolutely loves farm life, has been great around the horses and truly loves going for walks with anyone who will take him. He is about 6 years old, falls asleep during car rides, and is as good natured as they come. Alright social media world, let’s see what we can do to find AJ the right home! Due to the incredibly high demand for summer vacation requests, at this time we are not able to accept reservations from new clients until September 1st 2024. Current clients, send me those dates ASAP! We are getting quite close to being completely full for all of July and August. I cannot thank everyone enough for all the support, if I could clone myself and turn the whole house into a boarding area, I would! But part of what makes what us so special is the quality time we spend with the dogs and the experiences we are able to give them and I want to make sure my golden standard of care is never compromised. My new friend AJ the Shepard has come completely out of his shell since being here and confirms for me why I do things the way I do them. Stay tuned for more information about AJ and watch his story unfold, this is one special dog!

My trip may have come to an end, but the busy summer season is just about to kick off for everyone else! If you haven’t reached out yet to reserve a “pup vacation”, act quickly because my summer schedule is filling up FAST! There are weekends in May, weeks in June, July and August we are already completely booked! I had to share this video from Eve’s mom of how excited Eve is coming down the driveway. This is the second video JUST THIS WEEK an owner has shared with me just how happy a pup is to come to the farm. I can’t even begin to describe how much this warms my heart 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

I try to incorporate the dogs as much as I can into my day, whether they help me with barn chores, play with friends or help me do laundry, I try to make their experience as home like as possible - just with a little more dirt and ending up smelling like a horse 😂

Eddie, Jack and Scout are becoming true barn dogs! They did this for about three hours while I cleaned stalls 😂. With this warmer weather, I’m dreaming of summer and with that, wanted to send a reminder to get your summer dates in now! We are already booked for weeks in June, July and August!

We are COMPLETELY full February and April school vacation weeks as well as Father’s Day weekend, and 4th of July!
