Spent Saturday night with 2 retired American greyhounds and 2 rescued Spanish Galgos hunting dogs

Charlie crossed the rainbow bridge on the first of January. I started sitting for Charlie in 2015. We did daycare a couple times at my house and he got along so well with my cat and dog that after that whenever Heather went out of town, Charlie would just move in with me and my dog Buddy. Charlie was a schipperke. And Charlie was Buddy's mini-me. Even when Heather moved out of my service area, she would still bring Charlie to me when she left town. In 2022 they moved to North Carolina, but I would still get pictures and updates of Charlie and once when she came back here, she dropped Charlie off to stay with me while she was visiting relatives.
Charlie was adopted. He had a couple of close calls in his years, but he always pulled through. His little old body just couldn't take anymore. Heather is devastated.
Buddy and I are both heartbroken and sad.
I went through my photo files and found a lot of photos of Charlie from our time together. Those of you have been following me will remember Charlie.
(there may be a few duplicates, I'll delete them as I notice them)

Spent Friday night with Bali & Feisti because of the dangerous snow storm prediction and they would have been first on my schedule Saturday morning anyway. Not much snow or ice but lots of puppy bonding.
