My mom was sad all last week. My older brother wasn't home. I wasn't sure why these 2 things were happening, but now I sense my brother won't be coming back. My mom puts on a brave face for me, but I know she's is still hurting.

Diesel left us and crossed the rainbow 🌈 bridge last Monday. It's weird around the house, and it won't ever be the same. He showed me how to be a good boy, and I won't ever forget my older brother 😔

Over a year ago I went to a board and train intense 6-week program. It was ruff! I tried to scare everyone into giving up and not making me go. But now I learned how much happier I am that I went. And now, I have found a boarding place that lets me have sleep overs when my momma goes out of town. I even like a couple of them enough to let them take me away from my momma!!!!

Hey fans!!! It's been a while!

I have to share an experience I just had that I thought was going to be scary. My mom went on a long weekend trip so I had to go stay at a new place. But because my mom understands my needs, and the new place listened to her and worked with her, I had a great time!!

My mom dropped me off by taking me into my own big play area. Then she left. I watched the new human work on the other side of the fence. Then I let him in and even let him pet me. He did play fetch with me, so he kinda won me over with a ball haha. When my mom came back, I was so excited to see her!!! I told her I wasn't scared at all and had a great time!

I did really well both at drop off and pick up and didn't get bothered by anyone in the lobby area! Thank you all for supporting me and letting me grow!

How do you wake your parents up? I like to climb on top of my mom and give her tons of kisses. Sometimes I get so excited she's awake that I forget I need to get off her chest so she can get out of bed lol.

Had my first training session with my hooman today! I showed her "place" and "sit" and "heel" and "down". And I was pretty good and waiting until she gave me the release word!

Hi friends! I am being told I am doing OK at my boarding school! I am relearning some basic things which will hopefully reprogram me to know that my handler, no matter who it is, is the lead dog. This will hopefully help me look to them when I am uncomfortable rather than try to protect them from the scary people.

Hi Facebook Family!! I am all checked in at my board and train. It was a rough weekend, I knew mom was different when I was getting picked up to hang out with my dog sitter. I tried to not let her leave, and I tried to scare the dog sitter (I'm told it almost worked). But now I am settling down. Here is the update from my trainer after a full day:

I’m just chilling with him, showing him I won’t hurt him. If he checks in with me I encourage and talk in calm tones. Absolutely not going to rush him as you can see he is very unsure of everything right now.
It’s pretty ideal actually, I plan to use his week to practice “handoffs” to other employees since he isn’t resource guarding me right now. To show him new people can be positive and won’t demand anything unnecessary of him.
He’s not taking food yet and I haven’t seen him drink yet either-but that’s extremely normal right now as it’s only day two.
I’m still offering of course, but for now, if he won’t eat from me, he’s going to have to wait a bit.
Structure is going to be EXTREMELY important for this guy as well as very solid boundaries. I’m making sure to enter the runs (potty areas) before him then allow him to follow after me. I’m walking him in the runs as well. He’s already peed several times which is really good, shows he is already comfortable on some level.

BUT, I did get some delicious cheese from a can AND she said I did really good even though I was NOT happy.

My foster mom adopted me!!!!!!! Even though she was given an ridiculous ultimatum by the rescue, she knew that she was her only chance at me living my best life 🥰

She loves me so much that she is sending me to a "training camp" but still would like some help covering her half of the cost. Please, if you have any spare change, would you consider helping her? This camp will help both of us move past that last step I need to be the best dog I can be!
