The Bakers of the Barkery, are what make this company SWEET- Spectacular people, Working, Earning, and Excelling Together! Sweet Treats Barkery is a non-profit, retail business. At Sweet Treats Pet Barkery, our mission is to create learning opportunities, and vocational training for students and adults with special abilities, so that they may become successful members of society, while achieving

a sense of belonging and acquiring skills that will assist them in pursuing a meaningful career. Currently, we meet every couple months for our Bake Days at local church kitchens, where we spend a day mixing and baking our tasty dog treats. We do not yet have a permanent home of our own, but as we grow and gain community support, we plan to find a permanent store front in Canton to work out of. We are also currently planning to attend upcoming community events such as the Friendship Festival Parade and possibly have a booth during the Scenic Drive. As we grow, we will continue update our page with more information and updates on upcoming events.

Great News! During the week of March 30 - April 3rd, Canton Helping Hands Resale Shoppe is donating proceeds to our non-profit organization! Please bring by items to sell and definitely shop next week!

This will help our bakers when we are able to start baking again!

Our Story

SWEET Treats Barkery is a nonprofit company committed to creating opportunities and vocational training for individuals with disabilities. Our pet treats are hand made, fresh baked made from all natural ingredients. The Bakers at our Barkery are what makes this company SWEET-Spectacular people, Working, Earning, and Excelling Together! Your support helps our organization to create learning experiences for these individuals. Through these experiences the bakers become more self-reliant within the local community giving them each a sense of accomplishment and independence. You can purchase our dog treats at: Spoon River Animal Clinic in Canton and the Macomb Co-op in Macomb.
