FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Thank you for looking at Daisy's. Dachshund. Puppies! We where formerly "Daisy's Dachshund Kennel". We’re a small family breeding, raising and spoiling our dachshunds for 4+ years! We range in colors and styles (except and wire-haired).
1) How much are your puppies?
They vary from litter to litter. We put a lot of work, blood, sweat and tears in our fur babies! It helps to have a budget in mind.
2.)How do I make a deposit?
Deposits are non-refundable unless there is a problem on our end. Deposits can be made through cash (if we meet in person for viewing). Deposits are $100. It also goes towards the price of the puppy.
3.) How l pay at pickup?
l had a rough experience (trice) where l had to and meet someone with the puppy and he never showed up, and l was robbed at gunpoint 💔. My husband and l decided there should be a reservation of $100 before we set the pickup (Payment method would be sent)
4.)Do you have long haired puppies?
Yes, but we won’t know a puppies hair length (or guarantee) until 3-4 weeks old. Only if both parents are long haired will we be confident they will be long haired. Sometimes short haired parents will produce a long haired and vice versa.
5.)Do you have a waiting list?
Sorry, no. I’m no longer keeping a waiting list.
6.)How big will my puppy get?
We can’t always guarantee the size of a puppy when fully grown. They can be various sizes, even though we try to breed them to be small.
7.)Can you hold my puppy for me?
When we determine a puppy is ready for a new home, you will be notified and allowed up til the puppy is 8 weeks old. We will no longer hold them longer than 8 weeks if someone has a deposit on one (we had several take advantage of us holding past 12 weeks).
8.)Can you ship my puppy?
Yes, have pet delivery partners we ship our puppies with, they are experienced in animal shipping. They take excellent care using experienced pet sitters while they maintain strict guidelines assuring the comfortability and safety of your puppy.
9.)Do you have a health guarantee?
Yes. We take great care in making sure you receive a healthy puppy. We worm with Safeguard, Panacur C and Pyrantel. We give ear mite and coccidia preventatives. They do not leave us without their first shot -5 in 1 (which we recommend that for shots).
*As far as returning a puppy, sales are final. Exception to this is if it’s discovered that puppy has a congenital problem (vet proof is required). In that case, a replacement puppy will be offered.
