Get your dog a blaze orange vest! This ensure they’ll be seen by hunters & they won’t be mistaken for wildlife 🧡
Get a bear bell for your dog! This ensures they’ll be heard by others in the woods - and helps you know where they are if they’re off leash and out of sight! 🛎️
Get yourself some blaze orange too! A hat & vest are must haves! 🍁
Lastly, brush up on those recall skills! 🐾

Lately it feels like we’ve been constantly battling with the weather & that the weatherman is always wrong. This storm rolled through way earlier than anticipated, so we stuck close to the car. The sky got darker, thunder became louder & that first strike of lightning made us call it quits.
I didn’t cancel our adventure today because this storm was supposed to begin at 4pm. But, just a few weeks ago, I canceled my afternoon for a storm that never even rolled in…
It’s so hard to know what the right decision is when it comes to the weather - but my #1 job is to keep your doggos safe. So, Maple and I will head home & we’ll continue our adventure another day 🌩️💛🐾

Willa has some stranger anxiety so we’ve been taking it slow while she gets more comfortable with me.
Both Mac & Willa have decent recall skills. But when it comes down to it, me and my treats aren’t exciting enough for them 100% of the time.
So we’ll continue building food & relationship motivation 😉

Why is impulse control something we practice every single day?
The simple answer is that it helps support your dog in maintaining a ✨calm mindstate✨ in highly stimulating or stressful situations.
So, here’s Toby, holding a sit while there’s about 10 turkeys 60 yards to his right. Toby is not extremely aroused or interested in chasing these turkeys - which is a huge win and proves just how hard he’s been working on his impulse control skills.

When we got the package, I was already trying out their Probiotic Coated Kibble mixed with their Freeze Dried Rice, Chicken & Pumpkin Formula (which we have ALWAYS loved!).
Bear has had some tummy troubles post-surgery - but the kibble and freeze dried formula have been helping. I have always sworn by their freeze dried formulas to support with diarrhea and poop problems.
I’ve used their Hemp Calming Chews for years and swear by them, too! They are one of my favorite Hemp chews on the market.
I’ll let you know how we like the rest of the goodies once we’re able to try them out.
