BE BERRY WELL
This potent berry blend is full of vitamin C and antioxidants thanks to the green apple, blueberries and elderberries co-fermented in our gold tea base.

CRANBERRY ORANGE MIST
Tart cranberry and sweet orange come together in this bold and juicy blend made with our gold tea base.

PINEAPPLE KICKER
We can’t get enough of our hopped kombucha blends! This one is hoppy smooth with pineapple & tropical flavors coming through over a hint of spice in the finish from habanero pepper.

RHUBARB ROSÉ
Back by request, this light white tea kombucha has hints of rhubarb and rose petals for a delicious after dinner drink.

ABOUT OUR BOOCH: Our most recent batches of kombucha have been featuring teas from Nepal. These teas are incredibly complex and flavorful and yield a finished tea that is unique to each variety. We are constantly trying new flavor combinations to enhance each batch and hope you enjoy the variety and love that goes into our brews.

Fall weather calls for warm & nourishing meals. Did you know that many greens complement warm dishes? We love using arugula, kale, chard and herbs sautéed or tossed in the dish at the very end to add extra flavor and nutrition. Even a generous pinch of microgreens on top can make a stew, pasta dish, casserole or quiche taste extra amazing.

Get creative and keep eating your salads and greens as the weather cools.

One of our favorite things to do when we are traveling (aside from bringing our own greens along for the ride) is check out the local farmer’s markets and support their local producers.

On this trip to we found the most incredible spread of local organic eggs, berries, tomatoes, cucumbers, peaches, nectarines, pluots, lion’s mane, kombucha and flowers made with protea (a plant that has only 5 coastal areas worldwide where it naturally flourishes).

Microgreens pack a macro punch, anytime of day…or year!
Not only are they full of flavor and compliment pretty much anything (sandwiches, bagels, eggs, rice, fish, salads, tacos to name a few), they contain up to 40x more nutrients than their full-size siblings.

These radish microgreens made the perfect open faced egg sandwich to enjoy in the sun. While they are a bit spicy on their own, they mellow when added with other ingredients.

Make this:
🥯Toast 1 English muffin (we like the sprouted kind)
🔪 Smear with some mayo and hot sauce of choice (we used brand)
🍳Fry up an egg or two, add cheese if you like. Cut the egg in half and place one on top each half of muffin
➕Add a good pinch of microgreens for your topper

It’s a beautiful morning to start your day with a breakfast and hot beverage (our go to is coffee)!

Today’s simple pancake can be whipped up in a jiffy and requires only 7 ingredients:

Blender up 1c egg whites, 1/2c old fashioned oats, 1/2c cooked rhubarb (we have a lot of slushy pulp leftover from making rhubarb juice in our steam-juicer) and cook over medium heat in a greased skillet (coconut oil or butter). Flip once to cook through.

Then plate the cooked pancake. Top with berries, a sprinkle of salt, and a little natural sweetener (maple syrup or honey is delicious).

Pop a bite in your mouth, close your eyes, and feel all that wholesome goodness nourish your body and soul.

Now that you’re hungry…this is your reminder that the salmonberries and blueberries are ripe & won’t be around forever…so get out there on this gorgeous Sunday and enjoy the sunshine, fresh air, and Kodiak views and collect some edibles while you’re at it.

Clean out your freezer to make room for your 2024 summer catch with an easy salmon poke bowl featuring our confetti cilantro.

➡️Thaw your salmon, rinse and pat dry. Slice into 1/4” chunks.
Mince shallots & green onion or chives

➡️Make a marinade with soy sauce or tamari, rice vinegar, sesame oil, sesame seeds, sriracha and mayo, and add your minced items from above

➡️Mix with your salmon and cover, place in the fridge to let the flavors mingle

➡️Make a pot of sushi rice (just follow the recipe on the bag)
with rice vinegar, pinch a sugar, salt mixed in after cooking

➡️Slice some cucumbers and marinate in the fridge with vinegar, honey, and sriracha

➡️Slice other favorite items (carrots, radish, jicama, etc)

➡️Assemble your bowl with rice, salmon poke, picked cucumbers, and veggies and sprinkle on some cilantro for a fresh finish!

It’s that time of year again and we are HIRING! We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking, and motivated individual who is passionate about food security to join our team as a Farm Tech. Hydroponics/farming experience not required but definitely a plus. The right candidate will be an independent worker, detail oriented, efficient, organized, able to follow instructions, think critically, solve problems and thrive with a weekly routine. This job is part time and approximately 26 hours a week. Must be available a minimum of all day Monday - Wednesday, and for a couple hours Thursday and Friday. Additional hours will be required periodically to assume extra duties while team members are out of town. Additional requirements: Finished high school with diploma or GED, at least 18, with a clean driving record and driver’s license.
