Deeby's Senior Chihuahua Rescue We honor our angel Deeby 🌈 by finding forever homes for overlooked small dogs who need help most.

Our Mission:

To provide a loving home, good food, high quality vet care, compassion and comfort to senior, special needs, and/or hospice Chihuahuas for the remainder of their lives. To build a Forever Foster Home network to enable us to place more senior Chihuahuas in loving, home settings for the duration of their lives. To provide education on the joys and challenges of caring for aging dogs. T

o work with other dog rescue groups to promote the adoption of senior dogs. To find loving forever homes for Chihuahuas not considered hospice.

Looking for a non-shed, small, adorable love-bug? Look no further! We got in a few just for you. 🙂
The gals are all a little chubby, but we guesstimate they’re still under 15-pounds. They are retired breeders who were actually socialized (and very well fed 😂). These gals are super sweet and love to be held and fawned over.
The little black one is already spoken for.
The white and tan is most likely pregnant. We are told that dad is a Shih Tzu.

The adoption amounts are based on age. Caramel is $325. The other girls are $275. If Candi is pregnant, her puppies will be $415.

He is definitely a poodle mix. No shedding, incredibly unique markings. He’s great around other dogs/cats. He is likely under the age of 1 (Tobi is able to tell by his teeth;) He’s potty trained (no accidents with me) and listens so well. He’s so so sweet. He was just neutered, and he is doing so great! He needs a good home and is so so worthy❤️

Sorry for the blurry photos! We refer to this guy as Greased Lightin’, better known as Travolta. He is a fabulous dancer, and a wooer of all of the ladies. Travolta is an 8-month-old Chihuahua who weighs 7-pounds. He’s a little shy at first, but definitely has tons of love to give. He’d be best with another friendly dog in the home as they help him to come out to his shell. If there are any kiddos, older ones only please.

This little peanut was described as “bomb-proof” by her foster, because nothing phases her. She’s another favorite who we all wish we could keep, but alas none of us can. Maybe you will be the lucky adopter! Pigeon is a 1.5-year-old, 11-pound Chihuahua mix. She came all of the way from New Mexico with possible babies in utero. We quickly assessed that this little gal had weaned a litter recently, but was not currently pregnant. Thank goodness as she’s just a baby herself! Pigeon is great with dogs, cats, kids, cars, walks, strangers, everyone! She loves (demands) attention, and would very much like to be with someone who is home a lot.

When Murray arrived he didn’t have much fur at all. We celebrate his current floofiness, but he is due for a haircut and some new pictures. We promise to share when we get some! Murray is a Shih Tzu mix who is 10-years-old and 9-pounds.He likes most other dogs, and his foster wishes he could stay. However, one of her personal dogs isn’t fond of little Murray. Sir Hopkins is the 5th dog in a year who lost a limb due to extreme matting. 😢Please, please if you’re going to get a non-shed dog, you HAVE to get them haircuts every 6-8 weeks.
Sir Hopkins is a 7-pound angel. He’s around 10-years-old, but he acts half his age. While he is forever missing a foot, we are hopeful to get it to heal without needing a further surgical amputation. This little guy has been through enough! Sir Hopkins is a mini-Poodle who is precious and so well behaved. He likes other dogs and cats, rides well in the car, can be crated, enjoys snuggles, and isn’t loud. He gets around great on just three paws. Haven’t you always wanted a tripawd? You know you have. 😉

Say hello to Linus! He is a bit more like Linus’ blanket, in that you will want to take him everywhere with you. This doll baby is a Mini-Poodle mix. He arrived super thin at just 5.3-pounds. We managed to get him to 6-pounds so far. We think this cutie should be closer to 7-8 pounds. He’s just a baby at 10-months-old. Linus delights in play time, toys, other dogs, cats, kids, people, you name it! He loves to put his arms around your neck and give really great hugs.

Eeeek it’s too much cute! Bucky is a Shih Tzu/terrier mix who weights 8-pounds, and is about 8-months old. He came with some quite stained fur. However, he got the spa treatment at Nilla's Tub, DIY Dog Wash and Health Food Store for Dogs and Cat. Bucky is definitely feeling handsome, and his fur is a little more white. What a gem! He loves other dogs, and has even managed to get the non-playful fur kids to join in fun. He has been a very good car passenger, an incredible snuggler, and a fantastic companion. You know you need this guy in your life!

He’s trying to figure life out with 2.5 feet. Dogs are simply amazing. You can see the foot that was still a question mark. The wound is healing nicely. He will always have a scar, but he gets to keep that foot! The other rear leg includes his ankle and heel, he is missing most of the foot. He is definitely missing all of the front left. Front right remained unscathed.

ADOPTED Jaclyn was dumped at an animal shelter unable to use her back legs. Thankfully, she still had feeling in them, and control over her potty habits. So, with some therapy and crate rest, she can now move with the best of them! She still is improving, and can’t handle stairs. But, she bounces around with glee. Jaclyn absolutely loves to play with toys. She’s wonderful with other small dogs, and older kids who would be careful not to injure her again. Jaclyn is around 6-years-old, a Chihuahua mix, and weighs 11-pounds. She’s so snuggly and will lick your face off if you let her.

Santa came a little early for Ralphie and his new mama. They’re both the luckiest to have found one another. His new name is Finn, and he is already so loved. Happy Howlidays!

Aurora (black and tan) didn’t have to wait long for someone to fall head over heels for her. This little bundle of joy got a forever home and a Chihuahua sister. Happy dance!
