Measure A is a more effective approach to our homelessness crisis–and it’s good for the economy. Every dollar spent on Measure A will generate 2.5 times its value in economic impact. The measure is expected to generate over $3.1 billion annually in Los Angeles, supporting more than 25,800 jobs through housing construction, preservation, homelessness prevention, and mental health services.

Over the last seven years, voter-funded homelessness investments that will soon expire have helped 114,000 people find permanent housing.

Without Measure A, homelessness services for over 57,400 people would be at risk–a possible 28% jump in homelessness across LA County.

We can’t let that happen. Join Shelter Partnership in voting “Yes” on Measure A on Nov. 5, and saying yes to a future where more Angelenos can thrive.

Measure A is a citizen’s ballot initiative with three key components that represent so many of the lessons learned from the last decade: housing affordability, prevention, and new approaches to government accountability. It will help us each more of our neighbors, invest in long-term solutions, and build a future where everyone has a safe place to call home.
