Deer, Duke Silver, and Ron Swanson are having surgery tomorrow and will officially be up for adoption.
These are sweet, playful, well socialized boys. Litter box trained, lovers of soft spaces and nose boops with smooches. Sometimes a little bit mouthy (hey, they’re still kids after all). Interested in adopting? DM for more info.

Duke Silver (top) and Ron Swanson(bottom) are ready to find forever homes. These sweet brothers have surgery and can go home Tuesday 11/28.
They are both purry and loving kittens who have been well-socialized. They love to play and nap in soft beds.

Left to right - Anne Perkins, Deer, Ron Swanson. I love this picture by Deer and Ron Swanson will be having surgery 11/28 and then they will be ready to go home. None of these babies has adopters yet. Here is a little about them.
Anne Perkins is tinier than the rest of her litter so she’ll need a couple weeks before she’s ready to go. She’s quiet and calm (for a kitten) but still playful. She loves to play with her brothers and make biscuits on soft blankets.
Deer is jet black with soulful eyes. He is LUCKY 🍀. He was the only survivor of his group. He is so sweet and will seek you out for loves.
Ron Swanson is curious. He wants to explore and check things out but he’s happy to get reassuring Snuggies.
Interested in adopting? DM me!

Cute sleeping kittens will get me every…..single…..time. I think I have a million pictures of them sleeping (they move much faster when awake. 😂). Rufus and Mavis are cute little cuddlers when they’re sleeping…..unlike the terrors they can be to each other when awake.

It’s time!!!! 4 of my fosters are ready for adoption! Deer, Hiccup(Sneezy), Sunny, and Toughnut (Smelly) will be fixed tomorrow and available for adoption!! None of these sweethearts has interested adopters yet. They will be attending Ariana’s birthday pawty adoption event in hopes of finding forever homes. During this event, their adoption fee will be reduced to $25!!!! Spread the word so we can get them home!
Deer - No bad luck here! This guy is lucky! He is the only survivor from the group that came into my home at that time. He loves to be right in the middle of playtime or snuggletime. He is firmly in the middle of his eggplant body era. He is laid back and not easily startled.....except the vacuum. He will let you pick him up and then he’ll roll onto his back to get all the best scritches and pats.
Toughnut is a stereotypical tabbycat. He’s friendly and not easily startled. He wants to be near you and get loves, but not necessarily in your lap or being held. He’ll play with friends but is cool with nap time too. He really really loves random pieces of garbage. No need to buy fancy toys, Toughnut will carry a single piece of trash around for days, growling at any kitten who comes near him and eyeballs it
Hiccup-Do you want a kitten who wants to be all over you....all the time? Do you have no sense of personal space and you’re seeking a companion who feels the same way? Hiccup is the one for you!! He wants to be snuggled up with you ALL....THE....TIME. Purry, friendly, and playful – Hiccup is very tolerant of being handled and played with (any attention is good attention to this guy). He sometimes gets a little aggressive with his love and will suddenly nip or swipe at your nose or ear in the midst of his wallering and purring. Would do best in a home where he will get lots of attention and have an animal friend to play with.
Sunny- Rare orange female. Sunny is an easy going girl. She likes to play and snuggle with other kittens. She will come and sit on your lap for purrs and pets, but it is definitely on her terms. She has a shockingly loud MEOW and will scream at you nonstop when she feels it is meal time...or snack time.

Hello! It’s been a while. We’ve been fostering all this time but posts had fallen by the wayside due to a very difficult kitten season (lots of loss) and a difficult season in personal life. Hoping to begin posting more regularly again anyways 😊
FIRST……ROLL CALL!!! Here are our current fosters
SUNNY female, 12 weeks old, will be ready to go in a week or 2. She’s VERY loud and very sweet.
HICCUP male, 12 weeks, will be ready to go in a couple weeks. Stage 6 clinger. Wants to snuggle and be super close all…the….time. Playful and goes with the flow
TOUGHNUT, male, 11weeks, Wants to be near you, but not necessarily held. Ready to go in a couple of weeks. Loves to be with other kittens and to nap on top of the couch.
PORG, male, 11weeks. Porg is a MUNCHKIN! He has a form of dwarfism so he is going to be a short stout fellow. Answers to his name and loves to play.
DEER, male, 9 weeks. Currently in his eggplant body era. Will respond to his name. Thinks the dog dish is the perfect place to nap.
DUKE SILVER, male, 7 weeks. Snuggler with super awesome hair. Floofy
RON SWANSON, male, 7 weeks. Purry boy who loves to@play and not happy about his current crate confinement due to a broken back leg.
ANNE PERKINS. female, 7 weeks. Sweet petite who likes to be held.
MAVIS, female, 10 days old. Chonky bottle baby who eats well and has a loud mew and rumbly purr.

That’s 9 foster kittens! It’s always busy and equal parts adorable and disgusting. So many kittens go through tons of supplies. We appreciate donations big and small!! Out top need is fancy feast kitten soft food. Here is a link to our current Amazon wishlist: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/111BZFK99KH7O?ref_=wl_share

Did you see us on ? It’s time for Grover, Lenny, and Stormi to find forever homes. Grover and Stormi can go now and Lenny will be ready in a couple of weeks. They are foster to adopt so they can go home with their adopters as fosters until their official adoption/surgery date.
Grover is so handsome. He is the easiest of the trio to photograph since he is the most attentive and obedient(for a kitten). He can make anything into a toy. He loves to be snuggled when he’s done exploring.
Lenny is playful and intuitive. He will lay on your heart and purr when you’re upset. He likes to sneak up behind you and get your hair.
Stormi is ALWAYS on the go. She zips all over the house and always wants to play. She demands playtime by batting at you (gently not using claws). She is curious and into everything, but she’ll sneak into your lap and nap when she’s done.
They would do best in homes with an animal buddy. Grover and Stormi would make the best pair. They would also be most likely to enjoy a dog. Stormi could do great in a home with gentle kiddos.
Please DM for more info and share this post to help them find homes!

Lenny and his sibs are the sweetest. It took A LOT of work for them to survive and thrive, but here they are - healthy and beautiful. Sometimes I think that kittens who have such a rough start end up being the best companions, it’s like they are trying to pay it forward and take care of you. I’ve been under a lot of stress - severe anxiety and depression with physical symptoms. And just when I think I can’t tolerate anymore, here comes Lenny or Stormi (or resident foster fail Pig) and they gently climb into my lap or on my chest and snuggle down with purrs. I call Lenny my little pacemaker because he can calm my racing heart/palpitations and bring me back to a calmer place. All this to say, these are special kittens who are going to be more than pets….they’re going to be companions who will give more than they get. They are looking for adopters and I’d love to see them land somewhere that will truly value how much they have to offer. If you know someone who needs something special, send them my way!

21/08/2023

It’s been busy! Several days ago, we welcomed Hiccup. Hiccup was brought in with 5 other kittens and dubbed “Sneezy” as part of the 7 dwarf litter. However, I soon realized that Hiccup was much younger than his “siblings”. They were fairly agile - running, jumping, playing and had a full mouth of teeth (including back molars that come in at 4-5 weeks) 🤔 Meanwhile little Hiccup still had gums and was crawling about. With his eyes open, best guess is 2 weeks old. We aren’t sure how they ended up together. 🤷‍♀️ I kept Hiccup in the incubator and put the dwarf babies in an open pen since they were official gruelies. I got to take care of them a few days until a new foster was found.
Then yesterday, I got a call to pick up a tiny pair of twins about a week old. I’m calling them Toughnut (tabby) and Roughnut (tuxedo) - shelter names were Stinky and Smelly. These poor little ones were heavily infested with fleas so they had a bath shortly after arrival. When I soaped up Toughnut, the suds turned rust colored and I could see blood in the water in my hand. 😿 So…many….fleas on the two of them. It was amazing to see them visibly relax once they were clean and dry and warm.
So far all of these babies are eating well. It’s a long road, but we’re here for it!

I’ve been pretty quiet lately because we’ve had a season of loss here. It’s been a long time since I had a loss- then we lost Sam then Devon….and we lost Coal and Forest within 48 hours of each other at the end of last week. All of the remaining kittens were struggling and I was scared that we were just going to keep losing them. I felt like I was trying to hold onto sand while it just poured through my fingers.
This isn’t the part of fostering that usually goes in the gram. It’s not pretty. It’s not funny. It’s not adorable. It’s sleepless days and nights, oxygenators, steam treatments, nebulizers, a pharmacy worth of medications, and fading kitten protocol. It’s holding a precious tiny kitten while it takes its last breaths while you whisper to it that its short life had meaning, its loved, and it can rest.
I almost broke. I wasn’t sure if I could keep doing this physically or mentally. If not for the support from , I definitely would have. I love fostering, but this part is hard….makes you doubt your abilities and your worth. Im taking a short break to consider how to proceed and regain my bearings. But I’ll be back in early August. 😊

Frosty and Carly are now actively looking for their forever home. Carly (8wks) is almost at 2lbs, but Frosty (9wks) still has a ways to go. As foster 2 adopt, Frosty and Carly could go homeceith their new adopter (once approved) until their official adoption/surgery date. 🤩 ❤️ Find out more about these 2 below!
Frosty and Carly came in separately to the shelter as singles around the same age (1-2wks) Kittens do much better in pairs so as soon as they were past quarantine, they were placed together and have been together ever since. In fact, I would consider them bonded and would prefer they be adopted together. They are always together ❤️ Frosty, especially, has a very difficult time being separated from Carly. These peas in a pod couldn’t be more different. From looks to personalities, they are opposites in almost every way.
Frosty- has white wispy sling hair with Siamese-like markings. He has blue eyes and will be a magnificent floof when he grows up. For now, he’s a teeny guy. He looks like a pear on pencils. Frosty takes things slow and will observe from afar until he’s comfortable. He’s playful, but is pretty relaxed (for a kitten). Frosty loves getting pets and taking naps with his people, but he takes time to warm up. He will hiss and growl when something new startles him (including unfamiliar people and pets). He really loves Carly and gets very upset when they are separated.
Carly is a dark tortie with lots of sass and personality. She has tortitude. Carly is curious and brave and often gets into mischief. She is brave and warms up quickly to anyone who gives her pets (especially the ears). She is very active and plays hard (still very mouthy) and can make a toy out of anything. She is constantly playing with a reluctant Frosty. 😂
These 2 are both so sweet and so much fun. They really balance each other well. They would do best in a home with no small children where they can live out their days together. If you’re interested in adopting Ftoaty and Carly, DM me. Or please share to get the word out!

Last Wednesday , we welcomed a new litter. Devon, Stormi, Lenny, and Grover. Originally, this was a litter of 6. Their mama was not taking care of them. They were in rough shape - malnourished, dehydrated, lethargic, cold, covered in f***s and a skin infection. We went to work using equipment and skills from and These babies were tube fed and in the incubator. Unfortunately,Devon passed away on Friday morning. So far- Stormi, Lenny, and Grover are continuing to improve. They have a long road ahead and could use the good vibes, but I think their outlook is good.

Moby (Frodo), Aki(Arwen), and Hall(Annie Hall) went back to today to await their forever homes. They were even featured on as adoptable kittens! Here is what I said about them.
Moby (aka Frodo): Stunning house panther. Chill (for a kitten). Most independent of the group. Will ask for snuggies and attention.
Aki (aka Arwen): So gorgeous. So sassy. Full of the famous tortie attitude (tortitude). Likes to get/give kisses (on the lips). Wants to play all the time. Needs a buddy. Will pester nonstop for attention.
Hall (aka Annie Hall): 3months old. Not originally part of this litter, but adopted in. We were surprised to find out this little guy was a little girl. She is a stage 5 clinger. Wants to be with her people all the time. Expects to sleep in the bed. Has a thing for beards (and noses…especially when you’re trying to sleep). Would do best with a buddy.
Please share their profile to help them find their adopters!!

Last night, we suddenly and unexpectedly lost Sam. He had a heart attack and was gone. My daughter was with him at the time, and he passed in her arms. Our hearts are broken, but we are grateful that he was with us instead of a new adopter or in the shelter. Sam was a sweetheart. He gave the best snuggles and was an expert skybiscuit maker. Rest in peace, Sam.

Gandalf (Boordin), Isabel, and Aragorn(Govik) graduated today! They were cleared and went back to the the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter today to find their forever families!! They were featured on today so hopefully they’ll get to go home soon.
Annie, Sam, Arwen, and Frodo will need another week of medication before they can (hopefully) be cleared for adoption.
Frosty and Carly had shots and dewormers today. They still have a lot of growing to do before graduation.
All of these kittens will be adoptable. If you’re interested in adopting (or know someone who is), DM me for more info.

(Foster to Adopt: Soda-52800958, female, 2mo) Soda is ready to pop! She is hoping her forever family sees this because she is foster to adopt! She can go home now as a foster with her new family until her official adoption/surgery date. Here is what her foster mom had to say about her. “This is Soda...the sweetest little girl around! She's just under 2 months and 2 pounds so we haven't scheduled her surgery yet. She came to us super shy and hissy and we have worked with her to turn into the cuddliest, most playful kitten with the loudest purr you've ever heard from a baby kitten. We're introducing her to our dogs slowly...a little hissy, but not running and hiding. Peacefully co-existing and napping on the same couch now.” Interested in adopting Soda? DM for more info.

Feeling nostalgic today. My Isabel is ready to find a forever home. She still looks so small but then I see her baby picture and wow! Is asbel is a petite thin girl. She always looks like she has a smile on her face. She’s so sweet and balanced. Curious but not afraid. Loving but not clingy. Playful but not hyper. She is a social butterfly and gets along well with everyone. Isabel should be cleared from rw soon and then she can be fostered to adopt. Her adoptive family can take her home and care for her until her official adoption/surgery date. Interested in adopting Isabel? DM me!

Annie Hall is looking for her forever home. I’m expecting her to be cleared from ringworm soon. She is 3 months old and such a fun girl. Annie gets along well with everyone- men, women, teens, dog, kittens, older cats. She’s also ok on her own. She is a curious girl who is very affectionate. (Beware the occasional sneak love bites). She loves to be near you and purr and is always down to play. Annie is available for foster to adopt. Her adopter can take her home now and care for her until her official adoption/surgery date. Interested in adopting Annie Hall? DM me!

Today was bathday. It feels like it rolls around too often. With a ringworm outbreak, everyone gets an antifungal bath 3x a week. They get all soaped up, hang out for 10m, and then get a rinse. 9 kittens through this process with bedding changes, sweeping/mopping, vacuuming furniture and cleaning toys makes for an exhausting day…..for the people and the kittens. The rest of the day, everyone is passed out. 😂. Until next time. Only 3 more baths until recheck!! 🤞

The foster kittens want to say THANK MEW!!!! for the incredibly generous donation from my mama. 8 cases of kitten food arrived this week with a sweet note (clearly some were eaten before I got the pics. 😂). It takes a lot of supplies to take care of 9 foster kittens in addition to my own cats. Donations really help us to stretch the budget further. Our biggest need is soft kitten food. We’re going through. Case of 24 every 2 days. 😳. If you would like to donate, here is the link to our AMazon wishlist.

These two moved to an open pen today. They were very excited to be out of their incubators and formally introduced. They have been snuggling and playing ever since. Carly is growing like a w**d and eating great. She has a rash on her belly that we’re having looked at this week. Frosty is not eating and growing as well as I would like. I’m hoping that he will transition to soft food and eat better (or decide to take the bottle well….I’m not choosy. 😂)

(Pre-adoptable: Isabel-52425351 and Annie Hall-52391549, females, 2mo) Isabel and Annie Hall started as single bottle babies in separate foster homes. At 3 weeks old, they were placed together (kittens do better in pairs - fewer behavioral issues) and they have been sisters ever since. They are very friendly and well socialized kittens. Isabel is curious, cautious, and playful. She loves being with other kittens and getting gentle pets. Annie Hall is a bundle of energy. She loves to run, climb, and play. She is a rare orange female who loves attention and has a big purr. Interested in adopting Isabel or Annie Hall? DM here or contact their foster mom .and.beans for more information.

Carly and Frosty were stable enough for their first bath tonight. There was a lot of flea dirt, at least 1 live flea, poo, and dirt. They were quickly blowed dry and placed back in their warm incubators with fluffy blankets. They’ll be much more comfortable now.

Welcome Frosty (white male) and Carly (tortie female)!! Curly and Mowgli have been adopted so I had some open slots for new fosters. I got a message about Frosty being a good fit for our house/situation so I went to pick him up. While waiting for him, I heard about Carly who had just come in and wasn’t doing well. Luckily….I have 2 incubators so I was able to take both of them home (and still keep both babies quarantined). Carly was so very cold. I wasn’t sure if she was too far gone. She was weak and had fleas and an eye infection. Frosty had a URI and a lot of flea dirt. He was cool and skinny. Neither baby wanted anything to do with the bottle. After being in incubators with tube feedings every 3 hours (round the clock) + medications for the infections/URI - they are both doing much better this morning!! Carly was finally warm and Frosty is more active. It will be a long road, but I think they’ll make it. Im hoping to get them bathed in the next couple of days ti get the nasty flea dirt/fleas off. I’d like them to be a little more stable first though. It’s a balancing act with these delicate babies. Stay tuned! These babies will have quite the glow up!
