When dressing up your pets, keep in mind these tips:

Make sure their costume doesn’t limit movement or their ability to see, breathe, bark, or meow.

Check for any bits and pieces that might be chewed off and become a choking hazard. 🦴

Choose costumes that are easy to put on and take off, like those with velcro or ones that attach to their harness or collar.

If your pet tries to shake off a hat or accessory, it’s their way of saying “No, thank you!” Respect their wishes and take it off. 🧢🚫

Our Story

Pet Krewe is a pet costume company based in New Orleans, Louisiana. Just like New Orleans, we are all about creativity and inclusivity. Whether you are king or queen of Barkus rolling in the largest pet Mardi Gras parade, or sitting on your couch in LA taking snaps of your pup, we invite you to be part of our krewe and unleash your parade!

All of our models come from Jefferson SPCA, NOBR, Zeus’ Place and foster pups. The images of the dogs in costumes help with their adoption! Our favorite story comes from Lopez, a three-legged pittie who no one wanted. My first product, the lion mane, was put on Lopez--and he was the biggest ham in it! The image got him adopted, and helped the product launch to new levels. It’s a win for everyone involved. We know there are lots of places to shop for your cat or dog’s costume needs.
