I’m taking bookings for fittings in Winscombe for January - very little availability in December left

Last but one of our Winter pop up shops this afternoon in Brockworth 🤗

We’ll be bringing out all the festive cheer next Weds, so do pop along if you need any last minute bits before Christmas 🎄

Then it’s a bit of a break for us until the New Year 🎉

I know a few missed us last weekend at the Canicross Somerset MOT day … just a reminder I (Dawn) am in Winscombe with Emily being in Brockworth. Emily has Pop up shops on the next few Wednesdays on the lead up to Xmas. I’m available for fittings on a 1:1 evenings and some weekends.

Had a lovely morning at canicross Somerset Wellness and Wellbeing MOT day. I’ve met lovely dogs and owners, checked that harnesses and belts are a good fit and fit new ones for those that needed them. Forgot to take photos of all the dogs but here’s a few sporting their new gear 🥰

Sunday 1st December. Canicross Somerset Wellness & Wellbeing MOT day. Axbridge, near Cheddar
We will be having a pop up shop at the above event offering free kit checks and sales.
Is your belt fitted correctly? We often see belts worn too high or too low, which can put unnecessary pressure and strain onto your back and other areas. potentially leading to discomfort and injury.
Is your dog in the correct harness for their pulling style? Is your harness fitted correctly? Dogs can change harness size as they gain muscle, or become fitter and leaner. As they learn the sport they might change from a leisurely puller to a strong puller or intermittent puller - all of which are factors in choosing the right harness for your dog.
Come along and have a chat, have your kit checked and learn some of the factors that we consider when fitting kit to ensure maximum comfort for both you and your dog.
We will also have a range of kit for sale. Why not make the most of the opportunity to have your new harness or belt fitted by trained staff who canicross themselves and share your passion for the sport

Beautiful Mouse came to visit this morning and was kitted out in a Non Stop Freemotion, whilst her human decided on a new belt and bungee. All ready to start their canicross journey together!

This handsome boy came for a new harness today as his owner was concerned about the fit of his old one.

We are having a weekend of Whippets! Pippa came to see us for her first Canicross Harness.

Clive the Whippet was our first client for the weekend. He came because his existing harness was rubbing him. We decided on the Inlandsis open back; these are great harnesses for smaller dogs that pull. Clive is really rocking the green!
