The Easter Holidays will be with us before we know it! Here is our plan for the holidays. Booking essential limited places available.
Monday 1st April - Loan a pony session
(Aimed at nmw clients who are confident in open order in trot and canter)
Wed 3rd April - Easter egg hack/egg hunt
AM Canter level hack
PM more sedate hack with staff on foot.
Thursday 4th
Potential beach trip
Mon 8th full day Own a pony activity day (novice/int level)
Wed 10th Easter Show
Thursday 11th Pony Club members Blue cross horse and pony care comp
Beginners/novice Own a pony experience 3 hour session
Friday 12th Easter showjumping

Easter show schedule 🐣Wednesday 10th April and Friday 12th April
Food and refreshments available on site.
Entries must be made in advance with 3 choices of horse/pony given and we will do our best to accommodate.
The Arena Event will be weather dependent so entries can be made for this but please dont pay for arena event entries yet.
Chocolatey prizes will be available to win 🤩🍫

Took some of our young ponies to the Thainstone spring show yesterday, just went really to give the ponies the experience but they all were fantastic.
Rose and Minnie were 2nd in the coloureds, 4th in ride and drive and 5th in young handlers and took reserve championship for rhe coloured horses.
Emily and Patsy were 6th in the ride and drive and coloureds and 5th in young handler
W***y and Storm were 7th in coloureds and 6th in young handler.

Fab weekend out competing this weekend.
Saturday at EAPC showjumping at cabin Emily and patsy in the 60/65 and Asaldis and Pippa in the 80/85 both had fab rounds and Asaldis placed 2nd.
Sunday at Bogenraith Equestrian Sj Minnie and Storm went to their first show away from home, Minnie ridden by rose a little overwhelmed by the atmosphere but got round the 40cm class twice for a special rosette and some experience, Storm ridden by W***y was first in the 40cm and slightly going off course in 50 still was placed 2nd 🤩
Amy and Nacho were 4th in the 60cm and 6th in the 70cm also gaining valuable experience.
Sophie and Murphy 4th in the 70 and 3rd in 80 and qualifying for the PC spring festival 🤩
Alex M and Bear exceeded expectations for a inexperienced pony and were double clear in 70 and 80 taking 3rd and 4th. 🥰
W***y first time away from home on charlie taking 5th in 80 and 1st in 90 👌

Valentines day sj. We jumped 66 rounds of competitive jumping. Well done to everyone who took part and a massive thank you to all who help make it happen
Nmw staff, jen for her fab photos, Tracy, Jan and Emma for running the catering, everyone who made homebakes, arena party volunteers, sam for judging, josh for his help doing many jobs and John for his top class arena maintenance. we had a fab day and it didnt rain too much 👌🐎 well done to those who qualified for the spring festival.

Busy day today and a massive thank you to all our volunteers ☺️lessons starting at 9 right through till 5 with a busy own a pony day and a loan a pony session, also had Ardene House Equine Vets here to give 2nd vaccinations to some of our equine team and behind the scenes was Dunc from DP Light Haulage beavering away fixing our storage cabin which is having damp issues causing the ceiling to bow.
Finished the day with some of our senior riders practicing mounted games.

This week we have had Alice Hughes Veterinary Equine Dental Care to do Monty, oreo and joeys routine rasping amd oreo had a wolf tooth removed. We have also had Ronald Aiken to shoe and trim some of our horses and ponies.
Lorry gone in for mot 🤞🏼🤞🏼
Emily and Patsy jumping her first 60cm and her first time at Ladyleys jumed super for two 4th place rosettes. Rachael went to a Conformation clinic with the BHS. The weekend finishing with our adults doing some jumping and a beautiful sunset 🌅.
Now for a busy few days while the schools are off 👌
