Happy New Year!

Lovely dog walks today in the crisp fresh air.
If you want to book any walks with me then the first half hour with me is free.

In addition to dog walking we are offering pet sits in your home. These would be booked with my daughter who like me has grown up loving animals. We will only have limited availability and my daughter is able to travel anywhere for a sit. If you want to book a holiday but worried about pets then look no further and get in touch. We are experienced with foreign rescue dogs too.

It’s been such a tiring time for our newest addition to the family; having a nice snuggle with one of our rescue dogs ❤️

A lovely post was sent to my personal page this week. It read:
Thank you, you are an amazing human being and a lot of animals have happy and safe lives thanks to you. Always my hero ❤️ ❤️

Ok I will go next. My name is Lindsey Church and I also live in the UK. I am the founder of RRA. I have two dogs of my own who are in ill health and I have fostered four of our Romanian dogs. I started the appeal at the time when Breasta public shelter had killed many dogs. I arranged the rescue of eleven of those dogs, one was so traumatised that I feared he may never get a home in the UK. I started this for him in the hope we could build kennels in Romania. He now lives in a home here and is the most lovely family dog. I work full time and raise two children on my own. I try to oversee the running of RRA too and I work directly with the rescuers getting dogs to safety and arranging vet care. This rescue is growing in strength and numbers and I lose track of how many dogs we have helped but it's hundreds. This is due to the great rescuers, vets, team here and the supporters who without which we could do none of this. My heart felt thanks to everyone xx

Hi it’s nearly a new year with new possibilities and sometimes new problems. Who will walk my dog? might be one of those.

This last year has been an extremely hard and challenging year. We had to say goodbye to three of our wonderful brave dogs.

The thing I can no longer give those three I am offering to yours.

Whether it’s enriched dog walks, pop ins, feed calls, I’m here for you. This includes any pet you have, not just dogs. Your cat may need cuddle time, your fish or rabbit might need pop ins whilst you are at work or on holiday.

My experience with dogs is vast. I founded and was trustee of a dog rescue charity. I have met thousands of wonderful dogs and cats. I have a full DSB and insurance.

I am hoping to get booked up so please don’t hesitate and get in touch.

Please note that services have changed since I used the page last.

Full hour dog walk - £12
30 minute dog walk - £8
Exta dogs will be an additional £2
30 minute pop ins - £9

We can discuss any plan that suits your/your pets needs. I’m here for them whatever their needs. I am based in Southport and surrounding areas.

Have a wonderful Christmas

It's early days but Stanley already seems less depressed and itchy. For years I relied on conventional medicine and although it was effective, it was always time limiting. He would improve almost immediately, but then just revert back to scratching once the treatment was over.
Now I'm taking a holistic approach to his health, working on his gut, from inside to out. Tomorrow I'm making dog nutritional dog treats. Let's see how they like those!

The dogs love my food so much that my puppy is just thinking about it all the time, A relative visited today and she bit him. I'm sure she just doesn't want anyone to come in and take any of this food!

Does anyone else have a pet with allergies? I’m going to be trialing my own home made dog food this week on my own dog. I’ll take some before photos and let you know if there’s a big difference. It’s going to take time to get the exact science right, but I’m going to trial it whilst it’s still being perfected. I’ll keep you posted

Hi all. New services in the pipeline, so please watch this space 😊

I recently undertook some behaviour work with a local dog. She is originally from Romania and has been over here for around 6 months.
She’s with a really lovely family, who wanted reassurance that they are doing the right things and advice to move forwards.
This beautiful dog is quite traumatised and stays in the bedroom much of the time. She will venture in to the kitchen in the morning for some toast, but scuttles off following that. At times during the day and evening she would go in to the living room and have a belly rub, but if they fussed her she would quickly go back to her room.
On Sundays family and friends visit and she won’t leave the room. The relatives go in and say hello and after that she retreats to another room.
I stayed for a few hours and observed her and heard her story. We discussed some things they could start doing and I went away and wrote up the plan.
Two weeks later she is now staying in the living room longer, which is a major breakthrough. I’m dying to meet up next week and find out about other victories.
There’s still a way to go and she wouldn’t be suitable for any group dog training yet, but what they are doing now is working on her stress levels/triggers and confidence.
It was a lovely piece of work to do and it’s so uplifting to hear the plan is working nicely right now.

If this is like your dog please call me or send a message on Facebook. Thanks

Dogs work so hard at understanding us, so isn’t it fair that we learn to understand them too?
If you are struggling to understand unwanted behaviour, please get in touch. I have many years of experience working with very complex rescue dogs.
Your dog might be trying to tell you something and I can help you to learn what it is.

Long standing work with dogs.

I am a trustee of a dog rescue charity, where I have helped to rescue and re home thousands of dogs. Through this work I have had to deal with many medical emergencies and learn about the challenges of some rescue dogs. This provided me with the solid foundation, to start my own business, working with man’s best friend.

I long wanted to make dogs better, and realized I can add something to dogs lives that doesn’t involve traditional medicine, and actually does work. Yes animals need vets and they also need holistic approaches to healing and balancing. We love our pets and what better love than helping their souls?

I will soon be offering Crystal healing for animals, Canine behaviour training, Canine holistic health and therapy and CBD oil for animals. Your pet will definitely be in good, qualified hands! I am also fully qualified in Canine first aid.
