Hard to believe this is the same dog! When Matilda was found and brought to the shelter last year, she weighed a whopping 73 pounds. Now she weighs about 45! Look at her. She’s a huge pain in my ass. Always singing operettas at 7am. Designed the back corner of my hallway her p*e spot. Had to get tested for Cushing’s (negative). I love her with my whole heart and would not trade her. We love a girl who speaks her mind!!!!!!! Go on with your bad self!!

is going from west Tennessee to Connecticut over the next couple days! I ran her up to Bowling Green this morning. She’s very sweet and energetic! She’ll be an excellent lovebug one day, I can already tell.

Picked up Murray from the vet. He refuses to walk in parking lots because he’s scared of cars, moving or not. He’s also scared of the ice cube maker, washing machine, large bugs, heights, loud noises, medium noises, medium bugs, the dog door…..
Anyway, upon retrieving him I learned that he had spent the day flat out refusing to walk. He injured a paw. He can walk. He said “no thanks.” And then on the way out he told them they’ll hear from his lawyer. Where did he get a lawyer? Who’s paying for this?
So. He’s fine. Just dramatic. Anti-inflammatories for a little while just until he stops favoring it.

Murray got stung or something on his paw but, in true Beagle fashion, he was acting like he’d broken his leg clean off so here we are on the way to the vet.

Libby, right, had a meet and greet yesterday and also met her potential brother or…perhaps…a romance? LeRoy even brought her some all natural peanut butter dog cookies, which is a GREAT move for a first date, if I do say so myself. She’s not really a flowers kinda gal.

One of the reasons I was so ready to be done with my loooong weekend hikes was so that I could take part in dog transports again! I’ve only done it twice but I love the uninterrupted audiobook time and it only takes a couple hours of my day.
Miss Lana ( ) is traveling from her foster home in Bloomington, IN, to her furever home in Key West, FL. We had a great time together! She traveled so well and was so happy!
